Ault Ammo Depot

Purchased my first gun this year. Came across this place by chance, so glad I did. I had several questions to say the least!! He took the time to explain everything in detail. Even went as far as showing me how to clean it properly and allowing me to do it for myself. Got me set in everything I needed.

Love the fact that they sell loose, bulk ammo here in .223, .45, and 9mm. Maybe others, but not sure. You basically buy them "by the pound". Can't miss it if you are heading up to the FREE outdoor shooting range maintained by the U.S. Forest Service on the grasslands. Ault Ammo Depot is easy to find. Stop by and support this local business.

Friendly and helpful, nice little place and good selection

Great customer service, super friendly and knowledgable staff (owner?), and great selection in their stock. Was turned away from another store for wearing a mask but here they respected my choice to be safe. 💯 Will happily drive 29 minutes north to support this store over any store in Greeley.

Awesome guns & ammo store in a cool little town. They have just about everything you could need and the barrels of new (not reloads) ammo sell by the pound and a cool canvas bag is a great idea.

I usually don't write reviews, but I felt obliged to let you all know how great this place has been to me.

I came in from the field with a gummed up trigger assembly that wouldn't fire on the last day of my pronghorn hunt. I had no tools, and these guys were nice enough to remove and clean my trigger assembly for free. I went out that afternoon and harvested my first pronghorn. I absolutely have these guys to thank for helping me put that game meat in our freezer this year.

They also have great prices, and sold us on a new 20 gauge which we couldn't find cheaper anywhere else. Thank you!

I go here alot you can get rounds of ammo by the bag full weather you want just a few rounds or a large quantity barrels are 7.62x39 223 45 and 40, Many different selections of guns to choose from and they will order you anything you need or want! Highly recommended

These guys have a great shop with just about everything you'll ever need to shoot. Like the small town feel of the place. Good prices too.

From a sportsman's perspective, two of the little known gems of Northern Colorado are Ault Ammo Depot and Baker Draw shooting range.

AULT AMMO DEPOT is owned by Tim Brough, of Rocky Mountain Shooter's Supply, and managed by Dan Davey. Both are great people who have given much for the shooting sports. Ault Ammo and RMSS have graciously been the transfer agents for Friends of NRA, Colorado Youth Outdoors and other similar organizations.

If you're on the way to the Pawnee Grasslands shooting range at Baker Draw be sure to stop in to Ault Ammo Depot. It's worth the trip to the "Depot" just to restock shooting supplies or to buy one more firearm, that you really need :)

Also, a side note, Gray's Cafe, a block West of the Depot, cooks up cinnamon rolls that rival those of Johnson's Corner or Vern's.

The BAKER DRAW shooting range is located at the crossroads of Weld County Roads 63 and 96. The "Designated Shooting Area" was a collaboration of the USDA (Pawnee Grasslands office,) Weld County Commissioners, Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Army Corps of Engineers and The National Rifle Association. NRA provides assistance in design, planning, upgrades and financing of shooting ranges.

Best place to get bulk ammo. Very nice locally owned shop that I believe does very well with the amount of space they have.
