Fort De Soto Campground Store

Beyond beautiful campground. The store is very small and only stocks essentials and a few fun things but it always seems to have just what you need....or rather forgot to bring. The gift store items are very nice. The 2nd story balcony is the perfect place to enjoy pizza and ice cream. Everyone there is always so nice and friendly. Really enjoy just hanging out on that porch. Also the prices are really reasonable. The campsites all have power and water and feel very secluded.

Awesome place to camp. The wildlife is amazing. The kids love it.

This place is beautiful, it is the beginning of May and because of the breeze it is vary comfortable.

The campground itself is vary clean and the staff vary friendly. There is a pet friendly side.

The only draw back if any, is that there is no rv drain hook ups on sight so if you where to stay for a while or you have a large group you will have to either hookup and dump or use the facilities provided.

I love this campground. It's very recreational, lots to do here. Great secluded beaches, a fort to explore, biking trails. The bathrooms are very nice never dirty. You don't have sewer hook up you have to dump before parking.

A little pricey but most Camp stores are, the alternative is drive several miles back to walmart. They make great pizza here..they top it with your choice of toppings. I cooled off in the evening with delicious ice cream. They carry most of the basics you may have forgotten for your camping trip. Great little deck overlooking the water for a relaxing time while you dine.

Pete is extremely knowledgeable of the area and helpful. Never a miss a visit to the camp store!

Very well stocked with important items for camping,including food, wood for fires and fishing gear. Not too expensive, as many tourist stores around. They serve pizza, hot-dogs ,coffee and ice-cream. Open till 8 p.m.

Camping for all. Tent and RV sites. Some on the water. Nice beach but bring your bike or you can drive. It would be a far walk. Its difficult to get a waterfront site. Water and Electric only. They have nice bathhouses. Fun time and great value.

Friendly shopkeeper, good selection of supplies, best lemonade around

Excellent place to camp, especially right on the water. Beautiful sunsets, shaded campsites and lots of water life to observe.

The RV sites are well maintained the beach are outstanding the fishing pier are grate the old fort & museum are interesting

This place is not amazing. It is not beautiful. It is not everything you could ever hope for in Florida camping. Do not go here.

Waiting for them to serve hamburgers. I would so buy a hamburger. Otherwise I love it
