Needed a lock for my tool bag at work. As usual they had what i needed. It was great using my military discount too and loved parking right up front in their Veteran's parking.

I had done some shopping at the Lowe's in Athens, Alabama on Saturday and accidentally left part of my purchase at the store. Did not realize it till the next day and was not able to return to the store at that time. Could not find my receipt and thought I was just out the $20 on the merchandise I'd left. When I went by Lowe's today and was going to purchase something else. I thought I would just ask customer service if there was anything they could do. Brittany, the young lady behind the counter asked me about when I purchased it, what I purchased and how I paid for it. She took the information I gave her and looked on their computer and found my receipt and processed the return for me . It was a wonderful experience and I appreciate Brittany for taking the time and effort out to help me.

This location of Lowes was very good. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. I had a return and it was very big so I needed help unloading it. Also needed help loading what u purchased. The 2 girls Rebecca and Sara both were great. I had to leave and come back with a trailer because it wouldn't fit in my vehicle. I am not sure which one helped me load the showet surround but she was extremely helpful the whole time. It's hard finding good customer service anymore and they were very good

From the counter to the delivery they really took good care of me and applauded my military service ,wouldn’t think of going anywhere else!

I love Lowe's. The only issue I really have is that when I don't need a worker they are asking to help and then when I need one they can't be found lol. I guess it's just a matter of bad timing really and so I am not taking off for that. Some of their workers are knowledgeable, but do not count on it. It is luck of the draw really.....if you are at a improvement store you probably need to have some ideas of what you need before going anyway. The knowledgeable workers can be helpful though. They also help search for things if you can't find specific things. This store is well organized overall (though I do find it off you can get different sands from two different spots of the store. I went with the inside the store sand, because the outside sand didn't smell too good and I needed it to fill up sandbags. The bathrooms are really a hit or miss as well....usually half decent but not necessarily as clean as I'd prefer. If you want that, you have to drive to Buccees. They used to have tampons in their bathroom, but they quit that when covid hit. They do have plenty of stalls though and so you aren't left choosing between the best out of 3. Overall, this is a good store.

Like many others recently, the deep freeze of Christmas burst my hot water pipe to the washer. And I discovered that I had no way separating the water to washer and the house. So had to shutoff all the water to house as I made the repairs.

Thankfully I got to Lowe's in time to get most of the needed parts to remedy my water situation. First I added ball shutoff valves to the washer pipes, so I could turn the water on to the rest of the house. And replaced the valves to the washer as well. Replaced the bad hot water pipe and added some foam. I'll add fiberglass to fill the rest of the cavity once I know there are no further leaks, and everything completely dries out.

**Update**
Going back in to replace the cpvc female adapter with a metal female to cvpc adapter. In one of pics you can see the original female cpvc cracked. I read that the male pipe pushes outward and that force over time can cause that crack on the cpvc adapter. So I am installing a metal female to the metal male pipe to avoid this issue in the future🤞!!

Pick up service was exceptional. They held some items that I couldn’t fit on my first pick up, and the lady who helped me the second time was very friendly. I didn’t catch her name, but she was wearing a Lawler’s shirt. I think she may have jumped right in even before she had a chance to settle into her shift!

Associates are always helpful I use curbside pickup pretty often never have to wait long at all it's close to home I'm very appreciative

Just have to say that I’ve always had the best experience with employees at this store. Always polite and willing to help.

My last couple interactions returning some items after completion of a home renovation have been nothing more than easy and pleasant. I started out in retail/customer service and I know how difficult everything can get between the companies point of sale systems, processes and the customer. Each employee I worked with has always been patient, polite and professional at the Athens store. This is why they will continue to have my business.

Tabitha, in the garden section, has been there for the 5 years that I've lived here. She has always been so kind and helpful! So thankful for her great service! Love our Athens Lowe's!

Staff I talked to were nice and helpful. I bought a mini refrigerator for $169.00 and I was in and out in ten minutes.

Lowes always has what we need and at good prices. All of my home appliances are bought there and never had a problem with their Service.

I've been going there quite a bit remodeling a few things and building a barn . They had all the materials I needed. Was redoing a couple stalls in my barn and boy wood went back up to a high again.

Bought a lawn mower. The young man who helped me was super nice and answered my questions like he had studied the mower.

Usually have whatever household or commercial items you need. Or can be ordered & shipped there free for pick up.

Has everything from Holiday decor to outdoor furniture to light fixtures to lawn equipment! One stop shop!

Had a phenomenal experience here with Craig. He was very friendly at checkout! I had a very large order with many different virtual giftcards (won them and had about 10)! Craig was very patient and entered in each and every one without complaint!! That’s the kind of customer service I expect!

Friendly associates, we'll stocked, clean store. Thanks to everyone in store that met and welcomed my sons support dog . She even made a friend there.
