East Star Khiva

Best quality-price in all Uzbekistan. Very new hotel with clean, spacious rooms and good wifi. The breakfast is also very complete. The only disadvantatge is that you have to walk about 20 minutes to arrive to Khiva gate wall. But it really worths it.

Private rooms were excellent apart from the broken airconditioning which unfortunately didn’t get fixed. Luckily it wasn’t that warm, so it was doable. Hostel bathrooms were disgusting and were almost worse than the literal holes next to a highway but the private room’s bathroom was clean. Breakfast was two eggs and some bread, and tea or coffee, so not really worth it if you have to pay extra for it. Price is very affordable.

At first everything was perfect. Then I came to the room and saw how dirty my bathroom was. I did not have a running water and the shower was full of hair (not mine) and dust. The breakfast was awful and there were some people sleeping in the hall and corridor. Do not recommend this hotel.

Pokój był brudny, łazienka nie była posprzątana po poprzednich gościach. Na podwórku ciągle biegały kury i owca, co z jednej strony było ciekawe, a z drugiej powodowało nieprzyjemny zapach w całym hotelu. Śniadanie nie wyglądało jak na zdjęciach, były tylko smażone jajka i stary chleb. Płatność tylko gotówką.
