Nesti Relax Home

We had a great time at the house of Eni and Elona. Everyday something was happening. We got a good breakfast (included with the stay) and payed for a great diner. The view is amazing, the room is good (good value for money) and there is a terrace for swimming with beds. They spoke enough English to understand each-other, and with the help of other guests or family members we had nice conversations.

Eni and Elona (& the rest of the family) have understood hospitality very well. We had breakfast every morning and 3 of the 4 days dinner as well. Eni gets you delicious fish and it’s served with potatoes and salad, with (water)melon as a dessert. Eni also took us for a little tour on his boat through the lake. The private terrace is great for swimming in the lake and we took a trip to Ohrid with our rental car, which is definitely doable and recommendable if you’re there a couple of days. There is also a beautiful hike in the town and some little shops for necessities. The room was basic but all we needed and didn’t spend much time inside either way with the beautiful view outside! 10/10 would recommend!

Eni and Elona have a beautiful family, and welcoming the guests.
The house is perfectly clean, Wi-Fi works good and you have a tasty breakfast included.
You can dine at Nesti, fresh and homemade food. The speciality is the Koran, a local fish that Eni is fishing every morning.

If you are Blessed enough to visit this tiny fishing village in Lin, Albania on Lake Pogradec/Lake Ohird, you are one of the luckiest beings on earth. Truly. If not for the uniquely Balkan charm beauty of this village, the purely romantic, bucolic terroir of the region makes it worth a visit. What I love most about the Nesti Home was the immersion into the daily life of the village. A welcoming, doting, intelligent, local family helped me live as a local.

Ate a very tasty all natural lunch best home made cozy and warming environment, best fish the lake can offer, cleanliness, respectful and hospitality unlike anywhere else.

Ho soggiornato alla Nesti solo 10 giorni fa ma già ne sento la mancanza (ed infatti conto di tornarci!)
Non ci sono parole per descrivere il calore, l'accoglienza, la genuinità e la profondità dell'esperienza di questa guest house sull'acqua. Perché soggiornare qui è un'esperienza "esistenziale", dell'anima, mistica direi.
La famiglia di Eni ed Elona, i loro splendidi bambini (che hanno giocato tutto il tempo con il mio), i pacifici e sorridenti genitori di Eni, le ragazze che aiutano, il lago a due passi, le libellule, gli aironi ed i gabbiani, i panni stesi svolazzanti sul terrazzo, le ottime e abbondanti colazioni dolci e salate, le cene genuine e semplici cucinate dalla dolce Elona a base di koran fresco e insalate, i tanti aggraziati fiori che incorniciano il terrazzo...tutto ci è rimasto nel cuore!
Abbiamo alloggiato in una stanza con bagno condiviso con la famiglia: pulizia molto frequente ed impeccabile. Eni ci ha portato a fare un giro con la sua barca, con cuore e sguardo aperti, senza chiedere nulla in cambio.
E poi: le vecchiette agli angoli della strada con le loro conserve fatte in casa, i bambini che giocano all'aperto, le capre...in questo villaggio di pescatori e pastori senza tempo tutto è intatto (ancora) come in pochi altri angoli di Europa. Un luogo dove si apprende la generosità e l'apertura di chi ha poco o niente per sé e sceglie ciò nonostante di condividere, con il desiderio di scambiare e anche di guadagnare, ma senza speculare.
Ottima base per visitare la vicina Pogradec, cittadina vivace e gradevole, o sconfinare in Macedonia per scoprire lo spirituale monastero di San Naum o l'antica e suggestiva Ohrid.
A Lin sono presenti anche i resti di una chiesa paleocristiana con alcuni mosaici raggiungibili tramite sentieri che circondano il paese...ma al di là delle info "turistiche" quello che più conta è che alla Nesti Relax ti senti veramente come a casa, anzi meglio che a casa.
Presso questa famiglia ho trovato una tenerezza ed una sincerità cristalline come l'acqua del lago, e la ringrazio molto per avermi donato la pace che cercavo.
In poche parole, per me: un autentico paradiso.

Acabamos de estar alli, mi mujer, mi hija y yo. El lugar es de lo más bello, agradable, relajante...que puedas encontrar jamàs.

Eni y su mujer, los anfitriones, hacen que todo alcance aún más valor. Son de esas personas que siempre valorarás haber tenido la dicha de conocer.

Sehr angenehme Unterkunft mit 4 Zimmern. Die Familie ist sehr freundlich, tolle Gastgeber. Die Einrichtung ist zwar einfach, aber sehr sauber, leckeres Frühstück und auch Abendessen ist möglich. Super zum relaxen, sehr zu empfehlen 😃

La experiencia ha sido estupenda. Tanto Eni como toda su familia nos hicieron sentir como en casa. La comida que nos prepararon fue excelente. Sin lugar a dudas, repetiría sin pensármelo.

Megérkezésnél majdnem vissza fordultam, de bementem és egy tüneményes helyre találtam, gyönyörű, tiszta, a nyugalom szigete, finom étel, extra kiszolgálás, a tulajdonosok minden kívánságunkat lesték, és mindent megtettek hogy jól érezzük magunkat, nagyon olcsó. Köszönjük
