Port of Saranda

Visited the beautiful Sarandë back in October 2023. Shout out to the staff here! Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating than I was expecting. Boarding and disembarking were very straightforward as was security.

Beautiful place. Much nicer than we expected after reading reviews about it. The beach near the ferry port is free. We had read that it would cost €30 or more.
The restaurants are much cheaper than greece and most shops, restaurants and taxis accept euros as payment.

A great surprise finding a European standards' port city like this in Albania! All sorts of cafes, restaurants, shops. Worth a visit and surrounding places of interest like Butrint and famous castles and churches.

Best place so far no stress when going to border control plenty of air conditioning to keep cool in 40c heat staff are really friendly will definitely recommend to anyone going to saranda for holidays

We took the car ferry to Corfu. We were four cars and we parked to the left of entrance A whilst waiting for the ferry to arrive. The service was helpful and informative. Simply drive down towards the ferry area from the main road where it says port entry.

The public beach the best. Another private beaches use only a local ubmrellas and sunbeds for charge (about 15-20 eur). In Ksamil same situation without public beach. There is no public beaches.

Not sure what I expected - it was a very clean & modern area. People friendly & coffee was lovely & cheap!!! Plenty of bars & restaurants to choose from.

Easy walk from cruise Port. Many shops and restaurants. There is a currency exchange very close by that will exchange your euros to Albanian Lek. Then when you are leaving Saranda they will exchange Lek back to euros. The beach in town is small Pebbles. The sea was cold mid April and very clear.

A very nice port. Found it was easy to understand what was going on here.

Straight off the ferry we were instructed to show cruise cards to the security staff and they let us out with no issues. The port is in the heart of the city meaning that you can find a lot of good places to eat and drink nearby.

The staff are very organised and helpful. Despite not speaking language we had no issues communicating with them.

Just be careful of cars boarding ferry's, they can get close.

Spent the day here. Absolutely beautiful and so clean. Had beautiful breakfast, very cheap. Be careful with the alcoholic drinks they are lethal. We got so drunk and only had 2 cocktails.

Great place to stroll around lots of cafes,bars, and restaurants. Nice ice coffee,,,ask for a freddo.

Took the 6am ferry and fast checkin. Don’t have to come 1 hour before maybe just 30 mins because they start boarding 5mins before departure. Have the reservation number on your phone is fine and don’t need to print ticket.

Saranda is a lovely place to visit while having your vacation in Albania. A lot of restaurants and night clubs. Busy place all in all.

I'm so glad I made this impromptu trip to Albania from Corfu, an hour flying dolphin ride from Greece, great people, beautiful scenery, great seafood and inexpensive, worth the visit, especially Blue eye

Loved it. Beautiful, relaxed just had the nicest feeling about it. People were lovely, cheaper than most places in Europe

Place to go to Ksamil for a trip is great, Butrint also. This city is full of bars and restaurants , a lot of apartments and small hotels.

Very surprised, it was lovely, clean, people were friendly and inviting, would definitely visit again x
