Definitely come here when you visit this beach! The restaurant is surrounded by olive trees and they have roofs for shade. The food was absolutely great. I usually do not like beet root but my wife ordered it as a starter and even I loved it! We had the orzo "risotto" and the tuna steak with lentils. Both were amazing. Although the tuna steak does not look "perfect" it was juicy and the lentils were great and flavourful. The girls that work there were very friendly and disinfected every table after people had left. Highly recommend this!

This is a true gem in Livadh - you'll find special dishes that you can't find anywhere else, prepared with such care and love. It's a modest restaurant, very cozy, with a family atmosphere. The food is fresh and delicius. The staff is very polite and helpful.

Their homemade fresh tea is very unique and refreshing. Their dishes are amazing, and their taste stays with you for a long time. I particularly recommend the Dakos Salad, the Shrimp Kritharoto (pasta that looks like rice), the Fried Calamari, and the special fish of the day.

I visit The Jester's Taverna everytime I go to Livadh. The last time we were served by Arjola, who is such a kind and helpful lady <3.

Amazing place. Friendly and welcoming staff. The food was amazing. Swordfish was incredible. Also had an octopus pasta dish which was delicious. Highly recommend and we will visit again before we leave the area.

Believe it or not I found this place asking one of the bartenders at the beach bar nearby and I ended up trying their whole menu each day I went at the beach. Mama Tefta , the owner and her son are really humble people and make you feel welcomed. She even makes her own liquor with different tastes. She treated us with "Apricot liquor" she made.
As a foodie I have to say this place i discovered is a hidden 💎, the recipes are inspired by greek cuisine but their touch is authentic, you can see the details. So if you are up for a food tour I recommend this place absolutely

Best food we had in the south of Albania. We kept ordering more as everything we tried was delicious. Each dish was flavorful and seasoned nicely. Sauces were bold and completed the food well. Even something as simple as mashed potatoes was made special, with a garlic twist. And we had two jars of their homemade ice tea. So refreshing! Thank you to chef Arjola and the girls that served us. Will be back whenever I am in Livadh!

Honestly, the BEST food we had during our trip through Albanian Riviera.
The place has a unique charm, super friendly staff, and the owner is always smiling. We truly felt like home.
We had the babaganoush, octopus salad, and a shrimp risoto, and I have no words to describe how delicious it was. Babaganoush is to die for, I could eat tons of that!
Also, don't forget to try the homemade iced tea with local herbs.
Forget about tourist traps in the city center and don't miss this place when in Himara surroundings.

Jester Tavern in Livadhi is a must-visit for food lovers. The dishes are outstanding, showcasing fresh, local ingredients and vibrant flavors. The real highlight, though, is this pink cold tea, which I call it in a funny way the "Elixir of Amour." It’s a healing drink :)

The food at this place is another level. It was so good we went there twice in just 2 days. The dishes are authentic, fresh, super tasty making one crave for more. Dishes are full of flavour with fresh ingredients. Haven't asked specifically, but they even seem bake their own bread, as its fresh and delicious. The ambience is fantastic, at an open terrance, just on the beach front and the staff and service were great. Loved it, and coming back for sure.

Very good food and nice people. All that with a wonderful view. That’s how I imagine the food at a mum from Himare tastes like.

The best tzatziki (xaxiq in local language) I have ever eaten! And I ate a lot of tzatziki 😀. The other dishes were also excellent and the service was very nice. A joy to stop here for a meal. Fantastic atmosphere. I recommend refreshing homemade iced tea to drink.

We had a lovely meal at The Jester’s Taverna by the seaside. Everything was delicious and very fresh, with the best flavors. One important note is that they don't accept card payments, only cash, so make sure to bring enough with you.

We enjoyed 0.5 liters of wine with our meal, and in total, spent 20€ each. While it's not the cheapest option, it was definitely worth it for the quality of the food and the beautiful seaside setting. Highly recommended for a delightful dining experience!

Lovely place🫶🏻 Very friendly and kind staff, the waiter described every dish in detail. Perfect location and comfy interior. I would recommend the fish, perfectly cooked and nicely served with smashed potatoes and beets. Their homemade tea is the perfect drink for these hot days of summer. Coming back here✨

Stumbled upon this place while trying to eat dinner outside of the hotel and it was perfect! Very simple, chill vibes. Small menu, mostly fish and/or sea food but everything was very very good. You can tell everything was made in the moment. We ended up going back twice. Would def recommend!
