Kecharis Monastery is located in the skii Resort Town of Tsaghkadzor. It is 60 km from Yerevan. This beautiful place nestled in the Pambak mountains, Kecharis was founded by a Pahlavuni prince in the 11th century, and the construction of the monastery continued to the middle of the 13th century. Kecharis was a major religious center of Armenia and a place of higher education during twelfth and thirteenth century. Good luck.
