Auf dem Weg von der Werfener Hütte auf den Werfener Hochthron (2362m) geht man zuerst über die ca. 30m hohe und senkrecht stehende, legendäre "Thronleiter", eine Metallleiter die eine senkrechte Felswand überwindet, um sodann in das sog. Throntörl in weiterer Folge zu gelangen. Von dort führen die weiteren Wege neben dem Hochthron auch auf das Fieberhorn, die Streitmandln sowie auf das Raucheck.
