What a great place for lunch. Highly recommend the EU donut followed by the blueberry with vanilla cream donut. Finish up with a Blueberry Snapps or two. It can be busy at lunch so be patient.

This place has so many memories for my family and Post-Pandemic, it was great to visit here and eat a “Doughnut”. The service was excellent, the food tasteful, comforting and memorable. Thank you, Krapfenalm for your wonderful service!

Krapfenalm also known as " the doughnut place"
The best doughnut you can have - I would say not only on the mountain but generally. Good food, great people. The restaurant is owned by a super nice family.
The only downside is that there is literally no vegetarian food ( except from the doughnut of course) but they are nice enough and if you ask they will make something for you.

So although this place is a little pricey it’s good, THE PRICE IS WORTH IT.
I had the Austrian donuts with vanilla ice-cream and blueberries (krapfen mit vanille eis, Heidelbeermarmelade und sahne) the service was very good and the krapfen tasted HEAVENLY. There also was a really sweet cat consantly roaming around for some pets. Very good restaurant, Cant wait to come here again!

Beautiful view, awesome food and very friendly staff.

Food is just delicious, I haven't had such a good 'gröschtl' in a long time. Servings are really big and you are ensured to not leave hungry.

The restaurant is old fashioned and you immediately feel welcome here.

Visiting Wagrain without eating Krapfen here shouldn't be allowed :) - a unique place with delicious food.

Donut EU with a sweet donut is delicious. The cat is also very sweet. Austrian music is great there aswell.
