Malis Garten

July 2024: A stunning hotel which is a the frontier of wood building and bringing hospitality and nature aligned. The rooms are quiet (which is difficult to achieve in a wooden building), very spacious and beautifully decorated. All rooms have view to the gardenside and the beautiful mountain behind the hotel. On the side there is a beautiful church with a cemetery (not to see from the second floor because of trees). The hotel is situated in a small village which you experience at the frontside of the hotel but once you are in the hotel you feel nothing but peacefulness and connection with nature. Interesting experience!
We slept amazing thanks to all the wood, great bed and the two herbal pillows we used, loved it.
The breakfast is amazing, lots of choice and healthy options. The dinner scored for us between a 7-10. Second night we had a world class dinner with exciting courses and the first time ever I experienced a menu with alcoholfree drinks adviced for every course. Wonderfull!
The wellness area and massage we enjoyed a lot. It has a lot of different resting spaces where you can connect with the outside or choose for a more intimate spot to chill.
Staff we experienced was from 7-10. Overall experience staff was very good, friendly and very attentive.
We stayed for 2 nights. I would recommend to stay a bit longer, 3-4 nights at least to fully enjoy the hotel and surroundings.

I've been in several different hotels in the Zillertal area in the last few years and this is by far the best I've stayed at.
It's a little pricey, but it's well worth it.
- The rooms are spacious, quiet and new.
- The bed was especially comfortable.
- Breakfast was excellent.
- The heated pool was very refreshing after a long day on the slopes.
- The staff was especially pleasant and helpful.
- There's a ski bus stop right in front of the hotel, so getting around is easy.

This was the best hotel to stay at with dogs. There is a separated dining area where the dogs can join while guests enjoy their breakfast and dinner. The hotel also allowed guests to leave dogs in the room.

The rooms are spacious for the price and the sauna facilities are great. The food quality and most of service personnel are also excellent.

The only downside is the ambiance of the dining area - it is too small and cluttered. The sommelier is unhelpful and a bit rude.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The design is beautiful, and it's incredibly quiet. The food is excellent for both vegans and non-vegans. The massage was fantastic. Despite its small size, we loved that it felt peaceful and not crowded. Highly recommend!

This is exactly what you can wish for - a perfect place to let go of stress, enjoy the beauty, very vital and natural luxury and nature in front - skiing, music, relaxing, sport, spa, luxury, attention to life - 10/10

I do now know why this had been a year long recommendation, and I can only share that from here on - thank you!

Beautiful hotel, exceptional design throughout. The staff are very friendly and ensured our stay was everything it should be. Would definitley recommend and can’t wait to go back.

Wow, what an amazing hotel!!! The area is beautiful and you feel like you are in your own secret sanctuary! All of the staff were so incredibly nice and accommodating. The spa area was fantastic as well. I highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing getaway in the mountains!!

Ideal place to hide-away from all the rush and to do’s. Absolute oasis. We loved the size of suite and it’s evening sun balcony, super quiet and clean spa area, laying around the pool, no kids, smell of wood anywhere you move, professional staff and outstanding cuisine & drinks quality.

Kitchen was really extremely attentive and always looked for solution for my restrictive diet (gluten + lactose). I had never received so much love from kitchen anywhere yet. Big shout out to all staff & Christian 🙏

We just spent 3 nights, 4 days thanks to late checkout in this wonderful hotel. We did not leave the premises.
Decor is so amazing, you feel like you are in nature without it being rustic but modern. Wood wood and then more wood.
The staff is unbelievably friendly, all of them, some really stood out on our stay because we had more interaction with them:
Simone at the bar, creating surprise Cocktails with and without alcohol but all extremely good, very personal note.
Dennis in the restaurant, making you feel like the most special guest in the hotel with a quick wit always ready.
Francesco also in the restaurant, such a gentle and friendly manner, no matter how many guests there were.
At the reception, spa, everyone was so helpful and nice, solving appointment needs and requests.
Restaurant, sauna, pool, steam bad, gardens…
Don’t get turned off by the outside of the hotel, once you are inside it is an oasis of nature and breathtaking views, from every room, restaurant or spa corner all you can see is mountain or beautiful Austrian architecture.
We found it by accident and would love to return!

I love their Wilde Kräutergarten restaurant. Top kitchen, excellent service and Michelin star presentation. There is a daily menu at the hotel. Unfortunately the a la carte menu has way too limited choices if you don’t want to take the daily menu. The hotel takes only adults, so if you come for dinner w kids or dogs, you will be seated in a side dining hall. There is an excellent pastry chef, the pastries here can rival the best patisserie in Paris in both the presentation and taste, absolutely amazing!!!

The spa is nice however the massage treatment is a bit underwhelming.

This is a great place for a relaxing stay while enjoying the spa service, good food and drinks. The staff is friendly and supporting at any time. Highly recommended for discovering teh region.

Maybe most beautiful place to stay in Zillertal. We had some tartlets in the nice lobby of the hotel. The little tartlets were outstanding 👌🏼

It was a really pleasant experience

Wir waren in den vergangenen Jahren bereits mehrmals im Posthotel der Zillerseasons-Gruppe und nun das erste Mal auch im MalisGarten - bisher kannten wir nur die Eden Bar&Patisserie, die im Hotel sind.

Der bereits von den vorherigen Aufenthalten bekannte ausgezeichnete Service und die ausnahmslose Professionalität und Freundlichkeit des Personals setzte sich hier vom ersten bis zum letzten Moment fort.

Das Hotel selbst ist sehr großzügig, offen und luxuriös mit viel Holz gestaltet.
In den Zimmern und Suiten findet man dann noch hochwertige, durchdesignete Bäder die sogar mit Fönen von Dyson ausgestattet sind, was eine nette Überraschung war.
Der Spabereich ist sowohl im Innen- als auch Außenbereich für die Anzahl der Hotelgäste großzügig und umfangreich mit mehreren Saunen, Kneipbecken, Außenpool und einer Kryokabine ausgestattet. Es gibt zwei Ruheräume mit Daybetten und Liegen, von denen man entweder in den wunderbaren Garten oder auf die Zeller Pfarrkirche und die Tuxer Bergwelt schauen kann. Die Behandlungen im Spabereich werden mit selbst destillierten Ölen durchgeführt.

Ein Highlight ist natürlich die ausgezeichnete Küche am Abend - die Portionen sind tatsächlich sogar etwas zu groß beim 4-Gänge-Menü, sodass definitiv jeder satt wird. Auch das Frühstücksbuffett ist hervorragend und lässt keine Wünsche offen, wobei es zusätzlich noch diverse frisch zubereite Gerichte von der Frühstückskarte separat zum Bestellen gibt.

Die Eden Bar&Patisserie war uns bereits durch frühere Besuche bekannt und ist ein absolutes Muss, wenn man nur in der Nähe ist. Die Törtchen und Kuchen der Patisserie sind hervorragend! Die Fachkenntnis der Barkeeper sucht ebenfalls seinesgleichen, es wird auf jeden Wunsch eingegangen und ausführlich zu den angebotenen Spezialitäten beraten.

Alles in allem konnten wir keinen Kritikpunkt finden, wir werden auch künftig regelmäßig wieder zu Gast sein!

Ein sehr tolles neues Hotel. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Spa ist für die Größe des Hotels vollkommen ausreichend. Das Abendessen in der wilden Kräuterküche war immer gut. Besonders hervorheben kann man das Angebot der Bar und die super Empfehlungen von dem Sommelier Alexander. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt und werden definitiv wieder kommen!

War mit meiner Tochter , wir sind aus Bremen,,im Malis Garten . Haben Kaffee ☕ getrunken und sooo köstlichen Kuchen gegessen. Etwas ganz besonderes. Wir kommen wieder. Danke. Sehr sehr nette Bedienung.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt im Malis Garten, welcher unsere Vorstellungen übertroffen hatte. Wir waren vom Check-in bis hin zum Check-out sehr zufrieden mit dem gesamten Personal.
Gerne wollen wir noch das Top-geschulte Personal von der Bar über die Rezeption, bis hin zur Küche und dem Service loben. Was uns im Glas und auf dem Teller präsentiert wurde war ganz grosses Kino, diese Kombination aus Bar und Restaurant und Passion in einem Haus bekommt man leider sehr selten zu sehen.

Wer Zeit hat, sollte sich diese definitiv an der Bar nehmen und sich mit neuen Geschmäckern versuchen. Auch wenn sie glauben keine Cocktails zu mögen, dann kennen sie die Simone und ihr Handwerk nicht. Wir haben auf jeden Fall sehr viel neues gelernt und mit nach Hause genommen. Danke dafür!

Das Hotel ist hervorragend erschlossen und biete grosszügige Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage, dazu gibt es auch Ladestationen für ein Elektro-Auto. Der Skibus, welcher direkt gegenüber vom Hotel hält, ist in den Skipässen inkludiert. Wir konnten uns Auto somit eine ganze Woche stehen lassen. Die Skipässe lassen sich ganz bequem bei der Rezeption für den Folgetag zu dem normalen Preisen erwerben.

Unser Zimmer hatte die perfekte Grösse für den Aufenthalt, davon abgesehen waren wir entweder auf den Skiern, im Spa oder an der Bar ;). Zudem war das Housekeeping sehr aufmerksam und gründlich bei der Arbeit, das Wasser wurde stets aufgefüllt und neue Gläser standen bereit. Der Service mit den Handtüchern für das Zimmer und Spa war hervorragend, es wurde sich auch an die Regel gehalten, dass wenn etwas hängt nicht ausgetauscht werden musste. Spätestens am 3. Tag hat das Personal dann auch diese von selber ausgetauscht. Wir waren positiv überrascht!

Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder einen Ski, oder Wanderurlaub im Malis Garten planen und buchen.

Ich habe leider nur 3 Tage in diesem wunderbaren Hotel verbracht und dazu bin ich auch noch krank geworden. Es wurde sich sehr zuvorkommend um mich gekümmert und ich habe nicht so viele Eindrücke der Umgebung mitzuteilen. Gerade deshalb werde ich bestimmt wieder einmal nach Zell ins « Malis Garten » zurück kommen.
