Gasthof Thanner

A perfect stop for beers and a fabulous ice cream sundae after a long but lovely walk on the road up from Mayrhofen. Waitresses looking so narural in their beautiful Austrian traditional national dress just made it all perfect. And immaculate toilet facilities too.

If you want a quiet, peaceful place to stay out of Mayrhofen (but still want to be close to the village) - Gasthof Thanner is definitely the place to stay.
The rooms were clean and comfy, food is great with many options, the location is great if youre not staying in the village itself (only 10 min drive from the center of Mayrhofen) and the staff were the BEST. We enjoyed every second of our stay.

A wonderful, timeless, family run hotel. Incredible views from the dining area and delicious local food served. A step back in time in the best sense of the word. Could not recommend more highly.

Generous portion of roast beef in the restaurant, very well presented, and delightful conversation with the lady I met there about the history of the hotel, in which I have taken a particular interest. It is uplifting to see people in the Austrian hospitality industry take well deserved pride in their work. Merlot by the glass the best I have had. I also encountered other good folks in the Brandburg village. What a gem.

Popped in for a quick strudel and coffee; both were excellent, waiter was polite and views towards the valley were excellent.

Dit is een toplocatie voor wie van rust,wandelen houdt. Het gasthof is verzorgd, heeft een familiale sfeer en niks is teveel voor de eigenaars. Het eten en het ontbijt zijn gewoon goed en vooral lekker.

Super hotel! schoon en mooie kamers. Je kunt er ook erg lekker eten. Als je in de buurt van mayrhofen wilt zijn , is dit hotel een aanrader. Je bent dicht in de buurt van de piste. Voor het hotel stopte ook een skibus, dus je kan eventueel ook de bus pakken. Personeel erg vriendelijk.

Der Marüünkuchen war fluffig und hat nach Aprikosen geschmeckt. Er war so schnell weg, dass ich nur noch den leeren Teller fotografieren konnte. Und der Cappuccino war vom Allerfeinsten: Würzig, weich und rund wie von der Katz g'schissen.

Wir waren mit einer großen Gruppe mit 30 Personen ein Wochenende im Gasthof Thanner.
Super nettes Personal, saubere Zimmer, egal ob Frühstück oder Abendessen..große Auswahl und alles was das Herz begehrt.

Auch Ski Keller ist super ausgestattet.
Der Skibus holt einen direkt vor der Tür am Morgen ab.

Wir kommen wieder.
Gasthof Thanner kann man nur empfehlen.

Wir waren hier eine Woche an diesem wunderschönen familiengeführten und renovierten Hotel in Brandberg,
Sehr abgelegen aber dafür halt auch sehr ruhig und erholsam. Die Betreiber absolut herzliche Hoteliers, sehr Gast orientiert uns wurde jeglicher Wunsch erfüllt.
Wir haben uns bei Euch wie zu Hause gefühlt.

Wir fahren schon viele Jahre nach Brandberg und wohnen immer im Gasthof Thanner. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl, die Bewirtung ist super und das Personal ist sehr freundlich.

Auch nach meinem mittlerweile 4. Aufenthalt kann ich ohne Einschränkung 5/5 Sterne geben.
Die betreibende Familie ist herzlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist einwandfrei in Stand gehalten, die Zimmer sind sauber und komfortabel eingerichtet. Die Buffets sind reichhaltig und die Küche insgesamt hervorragend.
Auch für Familienfreundlichkeit 5/5 Sternen.
Absolute Empfehlung für ein entspanntes Urlaubserebnis. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Ein klasse Restaurant:
Das Essen superlecker, die Betreiber herzlich und offen, die Atmosphäre angenehm und bereichernd - mehr kann man sich nicht wünschen.
Alles war erstklassig ohne Wenn und Aber - eine klare Empfehlung.
Schade lediglich, dass ich diesmal wegen Saisonende nur zweimal dort einkehren konnte ...
