Amazing place with a view of the mountain tops and very friendly staff
I recommend it for ski alps as well as normal skiers, there are cross-country trails nearby. Excellent breakfast, kitchen open during the day, dinner with daily menu also excellent. Quality local wines.

Very nice hotel/restaurant. Everything is very clean, food is delicious and staff is really kind. (Winter) hike from papageno bahn is quite easy with the prepared path. Sunset and sunrise are stunning with the 360 degrees view of the surrounding mountains.

Clean facilities. Staff friendly and helpful. Service prompt. We had Apfel Strudel and coffee.
The place is accessed by hiking or biking up from a parking lot. It is very close to the Rossbrand peak, where there is a 360-degree view of surrounding mountains, valleys and tiny (from up there) villages.

Fantastic mountain hut in the heart of Salzburg.
Me and my girlfriend took a hike up on the Roßbrand and had lunch in this very modern looking establishment. The food was exquisite which we weren’t expecting for a place so high up. We were also impressed by the incredible view and attentive staff.
We will definitely be visiting again.

If you are in the area this is a must visit place. The staff is super friendly, the food is delicious and the view is stunning. Even better to stay over night and enjoy the sunset. The rooms are modern, spacious and very clean. Some of them have a crazy huge terasse which is perfect for star gazing. Definitely not our last visit.

Ohh, a big bonus for celiacs. Staff is very knowledgeable regarding gluten and the kitchen provides some customized gluten free options.

Tolle Hütte, tolles Essen, tolle Aussicht und eine super Gastfreundschaft. Hunde sind ebenfalls willkommen. Alles in allem ein wunderschönes Wochenende in der sehr liebevoll eingerichteten Hütte verbracht. Wir empfehlen diesen Ort auf jeden Fall weiter und kommen ggf. im Sommer zurück!

Eine wunderschöne Hütte. Tolle Küche, sehr nettes Personal. Hunde willkommen. Sommer wie Winter zu empfehlen. Wir werden mit Sicherheit noch mal vorbei kommen.

Unschlagbares Panorama und super Service sowie leckeres Essen! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Aussicht von hier ist wirklich klasse, so dass sich ein Ausflug hierher durchaus lohnt! Gerne wieder!

Tolle Hütte am Rossbrand mit super Ausblick vor allem für Sonnenauf- und untergang. Die Zimmer waren schön eingerichtet und sauber. Das Essen war auch sehr lecker. Klar ist es nicht ganz billig aber für den Aufwand, alles im Winter den Berg hochzubekommen ist es in Ordnung.

Schöne und saubere Unterkunft mit unschlagbarer Aussicht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Das Essen sehr gut!

Erreichbar ist die Hütte über den Winterwanderweg/Loipe mit Langlauf-/Tourenski, Schneeschuhen aber auch mit Wanderschuhen. Auf Anfrage werden Gepäck/Personen auch von der Bergstation der Papagenobahn abgeholt.
