Great ski resort with long ski routes and various difficulties. There are many places to rest and eat and most important the view is breathtaking! Good place for family and for skiing lessons :)

Rauris is an ideal ski resort for families & beginners and it’s also very cheap too.

The lift system is very good for a small skiing area and the pistes are maintained to a very high standard.

There’s also a small fun park ski area to keep the young ones entertained and there’s some of the nicest mountain restaurants with stunning views.

Telemark skiing is very popular in Rauris and in the past it has held championship races.

The main gondola station is at 947m and the highest lift station is at 2175m

It’s also possible to go tobogganing each day from the Kreuzboden chairlift and twice a week you can do this under floodlights.

The marked ski area is 32km long and it is ideal for beginners & intermediates.

There are some challenging reds and a black which will take you close to the main village, but I have known the black to be closed on some visits to Rauris.

Every time I’ve been skiing in Rauris the snow conditions have been good, which results in excellent skiing.

The ski lift operators and ticket office staff are very friendly and helpful, as are the ski school instructors from a couple of ski schools.

I’ve personally been skiing for over 25 years and Rauris is like my second home. Me & my family have been returning year after year and many of my friends love Rauris too. It’s a lovely little village with a number of supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, apartments and hire shops. I would highly recommend Rauris and I’m sure you will love it as much as me. ☃🎿⛷

Good walk on the top of mountain, at 11:00 and 14:30 is in top station birds presentation, gold panning in middle station.

Fabulously groomed pistes and well maintained cable cars.

Best skiing!! Not many People, beautiful slopes, natural snow. Unbelievable.

This place is excellent for family and learner to intermediate skiers and snowboarders. Very well priced.. The pistes are very well maintained. I highly recommend sarapartments.at - apartment205

Winter and summer why wouldn't you come here. Even the very loud apres ski bar.! The vibe was amazing. Really good selection of lifts, family sking areas and access to other ski areas. Really close to Zell am Zee with ski bus. Both winter hiking and summer great trails well marked. We are going tobogganing down later today. But only after the storm has passed. Currently lifts closed.

Excellent area for vocation with kids. A lot of to do and to explore in nearby areas.

Nice place to go in the summer. There are attractions for families.

If you like nature, this is the place for you. Base camp at 1000m above the sea, large gorgeous open valley with tons of possibilities - hiking, cycling, climbing, mountainiring, eating...
And then you can move with this cable car to 2000m. Beautiful panorama. At the top you can participate the birds of prey lecture, with magnificent birds flying over your head.
I must admit - we were surprised in a positive way.

Very nice place with interesting long slope

Panning for gold and bird show are both well done and quite interesting. They show the technique for gold panning and you find some flakes of what is gold or silver mixed with other minerals Don't expect to find pure gold but it is exciting enough for the kids (big and small) to search and find. Extra charge of 50 cents for a collection vial which is needed to keep the flakes inside.

Great place to ski for a small resort.

Not the biggest but excellent for 3-4 days family vacation.

Good price/value rate. Friendly, less crowded, but well managed and long enough ski slopes, with limited cost. So, good enough for a relaxed rest and recharge!

What a super views here. Great that they are on the Salzburger land karte. Went to both stations and took some time to sit and enjoy the little lake at the upper station.

Loved this place! Everyone was so friendly and the slopes were great! Try the curry worst and paprika fries! Awesome!
