Calm place with family restaurant atmosphere and local food. Liked and highly recommend, especially if you are hungry and after a long trip or hiking. The hostess don’t make you waiting too long!

absolutely incredible food and service. we arrived at the restaurant shortly after opening hours. the staff speaks english perfectly and if there's anything you don't understand, the owner will gladly help.
the food is delicious and I can't complain about anything, starting from the food itself to the services. the owner was so nice and always made sure we enjoy our food.
prices may seem a bit higher but it's worth having a meal and something to drink here

Really good restaurant for austrian delicacies. highly recommend the schnitzel and cordon bleu are some of the best i have ever had. Can also recommend taking the kaiserschmarrn. Atmosphere was nice and the service was fast and great, even got some free schnaps! Had the option to share appetizers and desserts which is nice. Will come back again!

The owner was very nice and accommodating when I dropped in with my children. Although they were expecting a large group, we were accommodated and given a great service with a focus on making it a nice experience for the children. (7 & 9)
The owner took time for chatting although having an almost full restaurant and expecting another large group. Remember to make a reservation to guarantee a place at this fantastic place.

Great food and a really nice atmosphere here. Everything served is really fresh and great in taste. Quite authentic Austrian kitchen where you can enjoy a really good meal in a really warm and cosy place.

Great staff and lovede the food. We were 2 adults and 2 children. All the food was perfect and they adjusted for the kids preferences. I had the hirch carpacio and the hirch ragou. They also had a good vegan selection. Can only recommend 👍

Good place, nice service, tasty food!

Great food, went here twice on our trip. For example...local dear schnitzel in pumpkin seeds and the best potato salad I've ever had. Also a variety of other tasty Austrian dishes.

A superb restaurant. We had several nights of excellent, memorable meals here. Tried bratwurst, blut-und leberwurst, schnitzel,
Salmon trout with pumpkin risotto , baby lamb shanks , chicken with risotto. All superb. What about deserts? Smashing. We tried topfenknudel, kaiserschmarrn, ( curd cheese dumpling with stewed plums, pancake chopped with blueberry). I can’t describe how good these dishes are. The family are a local family who take such pride in their terrific food. They were previously in Orania Stuberl opposite the station. This new venture is just PERFECT. I know we will be back. Simply marvellous. Well worth a visit or two or three.............
