We only had the chance to try the restaurant, and we kept returning multiple times during our stay in the area. The food is very good, and there are options for vegetarians as well. Good value for the price we've paid. We have tried multiple options, and everyone was happy with the food quality (including the kids, which is usually challenging!) The soups are excellent, the pizza as well. You can configure your own pizza by selecting all preferred ingredients (including vegan options). Excellent service, and you can pay by card (usually not possible in the Hallstatt area). Dedicated in-house playground available for the kids. Highly recommended!

Can not say enough great things about this place. Not only were they very cheap in comparison to everything around, but they also allowed pets without a fee. The receptionist greeted us and our four legged friend so nicely. When we got stuck on a hike on check out today they said no problem to a late check out. If you’re in Hallstatt, this is the place to be. (Also the food at the restaurant was phenomenal)

Really nice place for staying. Everything was perfect. Room was clean, food was delicious. The host is the nicest person who I ever met.

Amazing place to stay very close to the mountains and lake. Excellent proximity to Hallstatt and is very close to the train station. The rooms are very clean and some of them come with an excellent view (we got one with the view of the mountain). The food, both dinner and breakfast was excellent. They really do know how to cook. Even if you are not spending here a night, you should definitely visit the restaurant and try their food. The people are very nice and friendly too.

Great for vegetarians - a few options to choose from but I went for the pizza (which is make your own) with olives, mushrooms, garlic and mozzarella. Homemade pizza came out and it was delicious. One of the best pizzas I've had in a long time!

The owner and staff are really accommodating and friendly. The first day we came they welcomed us well even though we came 2 hours before our check in time. The rooms are all clean and there are rooms with a magnificent view of the mountain near the Hallstatter sea. We also enjoyed the foods and it was definitely worth the price. It was just 7 mins from the train station and just 1 stop ride from the Hallstatt. We definitely recommend this place .

The atmosphere is great and cozy. The food is good and will really satisfy your Appetite. The portion of food is really big and worth the price. I will recommend the ribs (rippel bbq ribs and wings) from menu. Its really worth trying. Its very soft and juicy.The staffs is all very friendly and very accommodating.

This is one of my favorite places that I've stayed while on vacation! It was about a 30 minute train/bus ride from Hallstatt, but so worth it for the price and stay. I paid for the breakfast, and the owner was kind enough to let me still eat even though I was completely late. The room itself was okay, but it was clean and I would definitely stay here again.

Stopped in with my adult children and granddaughter for dinner. Our server was incredibly kind, and the beef burger, wild garlic dumplings with tomato sauce, and rump steak were a delightful end to a long but wonderful day. We enjoyed the atmosphere, food, and service. Highly recommended!

An amazing place to stay in outskirts of Hallstatt. There is a very good connectivity to Hallstatt which is just 15 min away by SV170 bus from nearby Steeg Train station. Restaurant and the hosts are amazing too.

I booked the hotel with my daughter as it was the best option in terms of proximity to the lake and Hallstatt. And mainly our budget. Its a traditional austrian hotel with kind, funny and super friendly owner and personal. Special Thanks for the waiter and the cook who made our trip absolutelly unique, as they showed us to the lake-late night, after their schift. Special thanks to the owner as he made my daughter feel herself like a little Lady.
The room had also a balcony with a beautiful view. I need to mention our maid too, who was also very helpful. I felt myself as an appreciated quest and I do sincerly recommand the hotel for those who want a budget friendly accomodation and a welcoming personal near Hallstatt

Very Satisfied with the service. From service to foods are all satisfying and affordable. Recommended to visit and try their good service. Staff and specially the owner we had met and they are really approachable. They really interact with us as costumers. Had a great time to stat with them.

Lovely place and amazing food for vegetrians. Defintely recommend ( also they have asian touch which was amazing)

Besides serving amazing goulash, the staff is wonderful and friendly. I can't recommend this place enough. 6/5 stars
