Wonderful nature place to hike, with waterfalls, lakes, bridges, and plenty of raw forest to explore. We took the 90m route and really had a pleasant hike, however some parts are quite steep and slippery, we advice bringing proper gear. The tickets were 5€ per person, and the parking was free, so we intend to return for the 4h route!

It is very beautiful and an amazing place to enjoy hiking with water and nature around. The sound of water is just magical and comfortable. The way from both sides is very beautiful. The air is full of humidity, and the colour of nature and stone makes it even more attractive and beautiful. We were on the weekend there . There were lots of people, we still enjoyed it but I would prefer to visit in on weekdays . We were with a car 🚗 there . It was very difficult to find a parking place . We waited for almost 20 minutes to find a free place. For the people with cars, I would also say to visit this place on weekdays. This place is amazing for a picnic, hiking, swimming and for kids is this place also lots of fun.

Very nice walk/hike... would definitely recommend to families with children as the area is super kids friendly. Walk up takes up to 40 minutes (without kids) along the river but you can also choose to walk through the forest, if you prefer...

The stairs are in good shape. It’s a nice place to visit if you’re in the region. There is a playground before entering the trail to the waterfalls.

Beautiful place for hiking close to Vienna. The most impressive waterfalls require a ticket to see as you need to use a wooden stairs / platforms to reach them (and maintenance costs), however the surrounding smaller ones are free to see.
Definitely not a place for people in the wheelchair.
There is 3 or 4 separate free parking places so it should be easy to find a place to park.
There is a toilet near the entrance and a restaurant.

Lovely visit of the trail. Refreshing and inspiring hiking climbing up and down. One thing it just misses is texts in another international language (english) would ve great.

Great walk next to the impressive waterfall.
Highly recommend doing the full loop, including the climb to the mountain - not too long and amazing view from the top!

Peaceful series of waterfalls with wooden bridges and stairs built all along. There was a €5 (€1.5 for kids) entrance ticket that you need to keep to get through the gates and to get back. If you carry on a beautiful hill/peak is further up (Hausstein 664m). Waterfalls took about 15 mins and the hike about an extra 20mins (each way).

You get what is on the pictures, a lot to explore for kids, sound of water everywhere. Georgous landscape and countless pittoresque picture spots to polish your Instagram or just your family library. It was an amazing day, and a great possibility to create memories with the family. The food upstairs was really good (we took the beginner route).

Only downside, you are not alone, there are a lot of people up there.
Most people keep the dogs close or lined.

I can really recommend a daily trip, we have no hicking experience or equipment (even if I would recommend it, it is not required for the short track)

We will return for the other tracks for sure, there are a lot of guided parking slots (up to 10 min away from entrance).

The track is labeled as 45 min (one direction). In explorer mode (with kids) you can easily double the time.

Don't forget to take some water with you.

2-3 hours hike.... Lots of Bridges and waterfalls, not easy to count. Kids from 3-4 years old can do this without too many complaints.
Parking is very close. If you arrive early you can enjoy much more privacy.
There is a good restaurant at the top side which looks good if you didn't bring your own to eat on the way.

The perfect getaway from the city. It‘s suitable for families with children, cause it‘s not a long walk (around an hour or hour and a half slow walking round trip). There are benches in the middle of the hike, where you can take a break. The view is amazing.
We visited the place on a week day and there were almost no people. If you‘re a photographer and want to take pictures without being disturbed by tourists, I would recommend going during the week.
We bought tickets from the ticket machine in a matter of second cause it was easy to follow and there was no line.
There was also a restaurant right in front of the entrance to the waterfalls, but we didn’t visit it, only bought ice cream from the souvenir store next to the restaurant.

Beautiful nature, safe hiking roads, not too steep stairs and fresh air. Definitely go visit and plan for a picnic on the Upper Storage Lake (cca. 1h walk)
Kids loved it, parents too - word of advice: arrive early. If you are there by 9h30 you will have an enjoyable walk without too many crowds.

Visited at late March, and even though it's still winter and the views are a little greyish it was great. Nice round trip walk with beautiful views.

a very beautiful small waterfall for the whole family. Not only is the waterfall great, but also the nature there in general. It is very cheap and if you are hungry there is a restaurant next to the lake and at the start of the hiking tour. There is also a stonewall gorge which is very beautiful and amazing too. You get to go/climb through a cave.

The Myra waterfalls (Myrafälle in german) are a great destination, especially when the weather is nice. You can enjoy the nature, take great photos or just have a picnic. There is a nice children's playground at the base, as well as a good restaurant. There are more then 15 lovely footbridges. Have in mind you need sturdy shoes, because the terrain can be slippery.

A stunning waterfall system that stretches for 20 flights of narrow wooden steps that you can walk up to reach the summit.

When you reach the summit, you will find a nice meadow with a small area where children can play while parents relax with some well-deserved refreshments.

The cascading falls are very pretty and the trail/bridges are well maintained. 5 Euros is a very fair price. The upper end of the falls connects to hiking trails so you can do a loop back to the beginning without backtracking.

Waterfall wooden path is well maintained. Paths from playgrount to hilltop then down, they aren't such an easy way.

A lovely place about 50 minute drive by car from Vienna. It is definitely worth a day trip if you want to go out of the city.

Tickets to enter the pathway for the waterfalls is 5 euro paid at the entry. From there you have a steep but breathtaking climb upward the waterfalls.

Upon reaching the top you can take two paths - red and blue. Both take around 4 hours round-trip, depending on how fit you are.

If you take the red path, make sure you climb all the way to the cross. It's worth every sweatdrop. There is a field with picnic tables, trash cans and further fown there is a hut where you can refill your water bottles.

The Turkish cave is about an hour walk from the waterfalls, or about 10-12 minutes by car.
