A really lovely ski hotel. Rooms are basic but are super clean, not a scuff on wall or chip of paint missing and have absolutely all you need; the comfiest beds, powerful shower and added extras like robes! The food was lovely and varied. My only gripe it was served a little early for me. Immaculately presented hotel and wonderful welcoming hosts and staff. Just a short walk from Soll and so quiet. Bus stop outside. Just book it. You won’t be disappointed.

Exceptional Hotel worth a 6 star rating. Superb family run hotel that sets an example to other hotels. The passion and attention to detail sets this hotel apart. Frankly, they could run hotelier training courses to other hotels.

Hosts: Wonderful family run hotel, amazing hosts, very attentive.

Accomodation: Incredibly clean and great facilities. The rooms are comfortable and functional in the Austrian tradition. The apartments are spacious with fully equipped kitchenette. What sets this hotel apart is the gym/wellbeing center and natural outdoor pool. Both fabulous and great for an after ski spa.

Food: Deserves a special mention. Evening dinner is a restaurant level dining experience. 3 or 4 courses every night, carefully crafted, the owner/chef has created an evening selection that is exceptional. Breakfast selection is great too. Even the salad bar/buffet has a few ensalada mixta surprises.

Overall: If you are booking in the area, book this hotel with confidence. short walk to lifts and town. Great location for winter or summer sports. The number of people returning each year is testimony to the quality.

This impeccable family-run hotel is conveniently located for ski busses and the village centre. The food is traditional, plentiful and delicious. The three generations of the family create a warm relaxed atmosphere. It was a real pleasure to stay here.

Just returned from a week in Soll staying at the Hotel. 9th visit to Soll staying in various chalets or hotels , this was the best ! Due to the family run , ambience , customer focus and excellent food.
Rosie, Steve and their family run a great hotel , spotlessly clean , wonderful spa area and we loved the slippers and robes in our room.
Sylvia is gluten free and and in all our many visits to various places in Austria , no other hotel has ever catered so well to her dietary needs. Breakfast and every evening meal catered superbly for her! Thanks for a great stay ! Highly recommend the Gansleit - we will return - perhaps one spring or summer in the near future.

We have been coming back to the Gänslet for many years for good reason. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a traditional building with tasteful modern additions, the natural pool is wonderful. The food is of a very high quality and generous. The location is in easy walking distance of the village centre and gondalas but quiet.

Wicked place I’ve been 4 times to Söll and stayed at hotel gansleit twice and Steve the owner is a genuine guy. We had an experience on the slopes and came back to his hotel and he sorted it! He didn’t have to but Steve and his wife (lovely lady) came to the rescue. They have a great hotel x the food is good and they look after you. If you get a chance to stay then I would defo recommend them. He is English and there so if your English he got the know how x got to stay here you won’t regret it x

We had a great holiday, the food was excellent and the staff was really friendly. We felt welcomed and settled as soon as we arrived. Can't wait to return to ski or walk.

Family run, warm and welcoming, excellent location too

We've stayed at this hotel nearly 20 times in the last 11 years. Run by Familie Woods, their hospitality is second to none. Nothing is too much trouble, extremely helpful and accomodating. Food is excellent and variable. Hotel manager gives a guided walk(Monday) and guided cycle ride (Tuesday). A free bus service connecting a few other local villages stops outside the hotel and runs roughly every hour. Excellent walks and cycle paths, golf course about 6 miles away(Ellmau). Excellent skiing in winter, including night skiing.

Good for skiers. The Ski bus stops outside the front door. The heated boot rack actually gets turned on every day. Good food and good rooms.

Excellent family run hotel. Steve (native English) & Rosi look after you as if you are friends rather than guests. If you are there in the winter months, Steve will come skiing with you to show you around the extensive pistes which is invaluable as the piste map is tricky to follow.

This is a repeat visit to a hotel we have been skiing from in Winter. Summer time in the Austrian Tyrol is amazing with lots to do and see and this hotel is friendly, helpful and has been a joy to stay in. Great food, lovely wellness area and the family and staff made our stay perfect.

Great food good hosts and great staff,only 5 minutes from ski lift by bus from outside hotel,and above all reasonably priced
