K2 Restaurant Cafe

Absolutely amazing food. We all agreed it was the best food of our trip. Fantastic service. I'm so glad we chose it. The beef soup with pancake was the best broth ever. The schnitzel was delicious and tender, and perfectly crunchy. Thank you so much, it was a really great experience overall.

What a gem! Atmosphere 10/10, food 10/10 and the owner is such an incredible person! We will return! Everything was fresh and cooked to order. We also came for breakfast on a Sunday morning and… WOW! Delicious and unique, this type of breakfast is hard to find in Europe. I’ll let the photos do the talking…

I only regret is that I don't live in this area and I cannot eat here everyday. ❣ The Thai ribs and Thai curry are so good, I wished I had a bigger stomach.

They have done magic with sauerkraut that never in my mind would have been possible. Like oh my god. Please please try the Thai ribs as it's so good and the sauerkraut is like, "How is this so delicious?!?!?"

The waiters we had for the night are the kindest and super helpful. 😭 I wish they are everywhere I go.

If you are in this area, please do not let this opportunity pass.

This restaurant is just fantastic in many ways. The food is great, the people working there are friendly and just fun to chat with and you can see they love what they do, the decor is rich in character and relaxing. The view is of mountain and fields, again it was quite Zen.
The quality of the meal was great bordering on exceptional and the quantity did not leave you wanting.
We would go out of our way to eat here again it was that good.

The best part of the restaurant is the ambiance. Services and food was equally good. I ordered chicken thai curry and to my surprise, the taste was sooo good. It is not a cheap restaurant but worth trying it.

A wonderful experience indeed. I have taken the Rumpsteak with pepper sauce and wedges. It's a great steak, grilled exactly as expected. The red wine from the house (Austrian wine) was a great suggestion from Mario. He is a nice guy with a great vibe. My wife took the seafood spaghetti and it was also very good.
I had a nice cappuccino afterwards. Unfortunately had no room for dessert though there was some lucrative options. We paid about 70 euro at the end which is worth it.
K2 is a restaurant with a character, cosy and classic decorations. The outside seating area is pretty too. I will definitely come back if I'm back in this region.

We suggest this restaurant to whom would like to eat a good meal in a cozy place.
I've ordered thai curry and pork steak with potato, pepper sauce and vegetables for take away.
A "beer time" was enough tho get the order which was packed together nicely. It had a delicious smell and looked to be really big portion, on affordable price.
At home I saw that all the food was neatly arranged in the box, there was no problem even in spite of the car journey. Unfortunately was no picture taken but believe me.
Of course I was able to eat all my meal even though it was really big portion :) but it was also very tasteful. My wife even though it was also very tasteful ate two times from the curry.
Long story short the food - we got it quickly, its taste and portion, the price was very satisfying and we felt everything was great, thank you.
We hope to be back and visit here again.

It's an excellent restaurant with a nice ambiance. It's worth it to go out of your way to visit. I didn't try the typical Austrian dishes they have, but the ribs and curry were 5-star in quality and taste. Best wishes to everybody working in the restaurant.

We found this place on our way back from Hallstadt. Beautiful restaurant, very good service and the food is amazing. Recommended!

Delicious food and huge portions together with super friendly staff. We had a great meal here and were disappointed we had no more room for dessert. Fabulous would recommend but make sure you have cash as no credit card payments.

Wow!!! Fantastic restaurant. 10 out of 10 service. Very very tasty salads, fish and soups. Ribs are just delicious. Fantastic atmosphere and interior.
You can also try Italian ice-cream.
