Almenwelt Lofer

We walked through the Loferer Alm in summer. We really loved this route. We walked about 6 km between the cows. There was a place to buy fresh milk and cheese. We would really recommend to visit this area. Good walking shoes are needed :-).

Very nice place whether you are a beginner or a pro. There are multiple skischools and multiple places to eat and drink close to the ski slope.

Been coming here for 18 years. One of my favorite resorts in the area. An area that modifies the pistes to the mountain, not the other way round. Because of this some pistes will be harder at spots but the beauty of the surrounding stays preserved.

Small ski resort. Ideal to start learning. Modern lifts. Ski tracks rather easy, however black tracks are also there. I am impressed how they were able to keep snow on almost all tracks even during hot ambient temperatures. Worth to recommend 👍

My first ski experience so didn't have much to go on but every part of it I enjoyed can't wait to go back

Amazing place to see some breathtaking sights of the mountains, after the second cable car up you are at 1,370 meters above see level if not more. Parks for kids at both levels and restaurants also must be busy af in the winter.

We took a trip with both cable cars because it was included in our Salzburgerland cards. The trip to the top is long but well worth it (we visited in summer), and the views of the surrounding mountains are lovely. At the top there are many hiking trails you can embark on, as well as a few restaurants to choose from. You could also drive to the top, there is an asphalt road up to the very top

Modern cable cars with fantastic view over the mountains. Can recommend to walk up the wasserfallweg at the first stop.

A paradise for alpine ski, touring, cross country skiing lovers. Most cosy resort in Salzburger Land. The best ski school for kids in Austria, officially!

Fabulous pistes, family friendly resort. Small and fairly low-key. Not for aprés ski party animals!

Nice area at the top of the Lofers munteens worth for a day trip in the Sommer.

Nice place to trek with small children, accessible for stroller, cows everywhere, playground....

Nice and quiet place, you can do ski alp, there...
