Vorderkaserklamm

Walk through the canyon with waterfalls. Very well maintained and safe even for children, even though it can be slippery.
At the start is also a restaurant.
Orchid path is nice, but depending in the month, yiu might not see a lot of orchids

Super great trail. You can start near the main road, but also you can start from the ticket station. Great place easy to walk. Strongly recommend but not for kids. You can also buy great food from the resturant at the end.

Easily accessible. Short distance from car park. Nice sceneries.

Hidden gem near the highway!

Steep to get there, not as spectacular as the others in the area. Very narrrow and very high walls. Also a waterfall close to the exit. The gorge is one-way, there is a path parallel to it for the round trip.

This is a very beautiful klam.
We hiked to it from the main parking.
On a warm day you can swim in the ponds on the way or just waddle your feet in the river. If you do so, don't forget to take a towel.
There is a restaurant near the klam starting point.

How does anybody think of putting a walkway in a deep narrow gorge filled with tumbling waterfalls? A good walk and the wonders of the natural world. The restaurant at the entrance is also friendly and serves both light and full meals and drinks.

I recommend visiting the three tourist attractions Vorderkaserklamm, SCHAUHÖHLE LAMPRECHTSHÖHLE and Seisenbergklamm, preferably in this order, for which there is also a combined ticket.
It would be good to know that for visiting Vorderkaserklamm you can leave your car in the parking lot located 2.5 km from the access to the gorges, for a fee (4 euros) or you can drive to the entrance, on an asphalt road, where parking is free, but also limited to a few places. Early in the morning, at the opening time, there are great chances to find a parking space at the entrance to the gorges, thus saving the time for the 5 km (round trip), but also the cost of parking. Otherwise, the 5 km round trip is quite pleasant. If visiting the keys is done in the company of children, I really recommend walking the 2.5 km route, as there are many attractions for children on this route.

This place is a "must-visit" if in the area. Secluded with a magnificent entry along the water. And they make the best Kaiserschmarrn in Austria!!!

Beautiful sights with a well constructed walkway

Highly recommended to visit, be prepare for walking up the stairs, but it is worth it. Restaurant at the area to have a pint of beer or local dinner.

Go there, it is beautiful! You can combine it with the Seisenbergklamm that is across the road. Definitely worth the price.
