Apartmentresort Hackenschmiede - Ferienwohnungen Mauterndorf

We had an amazing time at Hackenschmiede. The appartment was spacious, clean and modern. A lovely view from the living room of the mountains. The hosts Thomas and Julia are very friendly and cooperative. Always trying to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Only negative aspect we could find that the kitchen is slightly under equiped. But that's a minor part. All in all just great!!

Lovely apartments in a quaint little Austrian village where we spent a whole week doing nothing and everything..hiking, paragliding, eating etc, ..and reading.
It couldn't' have been nicer. Friendly owners who took their time to explain EVERYTHING if you wanted. and I wanted!... so i learned about their Hydroelectric power plant (that fuels their electric cars!), their Geothermal Heating System..and their swimming pond. (that's delightful to use! bravely unheated) They've got rustic apartments and very modern ones in the (converted) old barn. In the winter i can imagine it's a great place to be to go skiing in nearby Obertauern.

Perfect place for relax with family. The hostellers are very kind and friendly persons. I recommend the place for everyone.
