Raggaschlucht is the best canyon in Carinthia to visit to see water rushing over falls and into pools. The walk along the wooden walkway constantly climbing up the canyon clinging to the vertical wall above the maelstrom below offers stunning views of the power of nature. There is at least one bridge where you can stand with the water rushing below you to make a great group photo. It takes 30-40 min to walk up the canyon depending on how often you stop to look down and take photos. Once to the top you can rest on the benches, drink or eat what you brought with you. No services on the walk or at the top. This walk is free with the Kaernten karte. The walk down the gravel road takes 15 min. A pleasant hotel garden restaurant awaits. Parking is in a large lot near the road with a 15 min uphill walk to the start of the canyon.

breathtaking natural beauty and beautiful landscape. one needs to climb quite a few steps, some rather steep, but the views while you climb of both the gorge and the natural surroundings make it worth the effort. a must visit.

tip: wear proper shoes because steps can get slippery. also, the way back is through a rather steep forest road going down.

Zeker de moeite waard om te bezoeken. Goed aangelegd en prima te lopen. Wij waren met 2 jonge kinderen waarvan de jongste 5jaar.

Die gesamte Raggaschlucht ist herrlich. Gut zu begehen. Steige können rutschig sein. Für ganz kleine Kinder nicht geeignet zum selbst begehen.
Eine Empfehlung für heiße Tage. Mit Kärnten Card sogar "gratis"

Geweldig! Wat een ervaring! Redelijk klimmen, maar ook de onervaren loper kan dit aan. Trek wel goede schoenen aan. Wij hebben in rustig tempo ongeveer een 75 minuten over het rondje gedaan. Kom vroeg! Dan heb je het hele pad voor jezelf.

Hele mooie wandelroute, overigens niet geschikt voor kleine kinderen of honden. Je bent er zo een paar uur zoet en je blijft kijken. Zeker doen, en met de karintie card heb je gratis toegang.

Overweldigende natuur. Pittige wandeling naar boven. Iedere keer ben je weer verwonderd van de pracht der natuur 😍
