Romantic Camping Wolfgangsee Linde beach

We had such a great experience. It was our first time staying at this campsite, and our spot was in an apple orchard. I hope next time we can get next to the lake because those spots are unbeatable! There are so many stunning hikes nearby, and a decent restaurant a walk away. The facilities were clean & the staff were super kind

Great camping! Clean toilets and showers. Very kind service. The view is great and you can easily swim in wolgangsee. Nearby there are also really fun places to go. definitely would recommend if you want to go camping with a great view. Also very dog friendly.

Camping itself is great! The pitches are huge, and the scenery is beautiful. The toilets are private, even the showers are individuals and lockable. Price is really competitive too! Will be coming back for sure.

Best canp. We tried 3 camps, 2 of them terible, this one absolute top. Free hot water, places nicely bumbered, staff awesome, hot water for free (no coins needed), very clean everything, beatifull inside rest room verry big, fridge and outlets for free, great beach, best water like cleanest we saw at that location.
Only bad thing is that we stayed only one night so we will return next year or maybe this year.
There are 3 camps on that location near this camp so do not make mistake when choosing the right one 😃

Hands down one of the best camps we've been in. Location, facility, owners and the indoor playroom with snack room with the lake view? Uf. True heaven! I can imagine that high season will be busy over here, but during pre-season this place is the place 🙌

This camping is so beautiful! Super friendly staff and the view is simply breathtaking. Nice access to the water. The toilets and showers are spotless and new. Good value for money! Definitely coming back!

We had a big problem to find place nearby (july) but there we find free pitch. Nice entry to lake, nice receptionists, very nice and privately showers and toilets. We were very happy there with dog and child. Also there are 2 playgrounds for kids and indoor playroom.

Great campsite at a beautiful lake! We pitched our tent right next to the lake, which was amazing.

Staff was very friendly and was able to help us perfectly well in English as we don’t speak a lot of german.

Showers and toilets are very modern and clean.

Fresh bread in the morning, and the campsite gate always worked with our pass. Which is very rare for a campsite in my experience..

Very good location, with great access to the beach. Friendly staff and all the facilities are very high level, including a nice indoor playing room for children which is great for rainy days.
Try to book ahead of time to get first line to the lake.

Highly recommend. Lovely kind personal and everything you need for an awesome rest. We asked for places to visit nearby and got so many ideas, that we will cpme back for sure. Atmosphere here is so lovely.
I felt that I am in Europe, like really. Small details for comfort are everywhere and clean clean showers, toilets and territory. I really fall in love into such a camping rest. The lake was 1 minute walk for us. We were coming at the evenings to the beach also and it's beautiful. We were very lucky with a weather and rent pedal boards. Interesting stuff.
P.S. I would put mark 10+.

One of the best camping! Very clean.. To enter toilet and shower you need to use card. Shower works 6 min in row.. Then it's possible to switch on after about 1 min. For car, tent and 2 people we paid 30 euro per night.

Disappointed with Salzburg (too busy, too commercial and the campsite was very unfriendly) we decided to head east into the Austrian lakes. Romantic Camping at Wolfgansee was a great find and ordinarily they like to have campers spend a few nights with them they managed to squeeze us in for a night. We arrived early (not too far from Salzburg) and made the most of the day with cycling to Bad Ichles for some great scenery and cakes on the Esplanade and then back to the campsite via St Wolfgang and the short ferry crossing. The campsite is run by the Lindenstrand family. The lady at reception (mother?) could not have been more helpful and her demeanour was in stark contrast to a very poor reception at Salzburg. The toilet block was excellent and the first floor of which was a family room which catered for all ages.
The lady at reception recommended a restaurant close by which was very good and frequented by locals.
All in all a very memorable 24 hrs in the Austrian lakes made better by the Lindenstrand family and my only regret is that we should have booked for at least three or four nights.

One of the best camping we have ever stayed. We swimed and spent a very joyful holiday there. We will come back next year. Thanks the staff

Small and cozy camp right at the lake. Beautiful view, clean water, not very busy during May. Very modern and clean amenities. Friendly staff.

Visit here was so good. Perfect place for family with small kids. Even when the weather was terrible there was always something to do. And also some of the best sunsets we've ever seen.

One night with tent - no problem. Friendly staff. There are power lockers for your gadgets, 1 eur acts as a locking deposit. Clean toilets and showers. Pitch's ground is soft enough for the tent.

One of the best camping place in Europe! Very clean, big places, team is professional and polite.
If you like bikes - place is perfect. It's in the middle of lake so it's near everywhere.

Awesome place to camp near the lake. We stayed here in August, high season, and paid about 30 eur per day for 2 persons, 1 tent, 1 car, electricity. Showers are free of charge and in general, the facilities are very clean. In high season is crowded, we arrived at 15:00 and there were no free places. The reception ladies, who spoke English very well, told us they will have some late departures and that we should call back later that day, which we did to reserve a spot. There are pitches right at the lake and others further back, or across the road. Worst case: 1 minute to the beach, by foot. Comes with a food store, open 'till 18:00. Can rent stand-up paddles for 13eur/h, kayaks with 10eur/h, bikes with 12ejr/day. No restaurant, but there are at least two nearby, which can be reached on foot. The lake itself has quite amazing shades of light blue/green. In the area, you can: bike, climb via ferratas, hike, etc. There are at least 5 more camping sites around Wolfgangsee lake, most were full or almost full, on 12 August 2018.

Very beautiful camp just on a lake. Bathroom was always clean and nice. You can charge your device in a rest room for free and recepcionist are very friendly.
