I love this place. The fish was delicious, plus the ability to choose your own salads from the salad bar - great! The portions are large, so after a few hours of paddle boarding, it's a perfect meal to regain strength 😀 The dessert also surprised us with its size 😄 but it was very delicious!

This was a pleasant discovery on our way back to Vienna from Hallstatt. Easily the best meal experience we have had in Austria since moving here last year. Smiling and eager personnel, with a homely feel. Large and well-curated portions. A large salad bar with abundant options. A reasonable bill. An attractive location close to the shore of the lake. I would drive back from Vienna for 2.5 hours just to eat here again…

Stop here. Awesome food with a wide selection of fish some from the lake. Deliciously prepared. Quite huge portions. Which is good since they are careful with fish in other places.

Absolutely love this place! I've been coming here regularly the past 6 years and it's the first restaurant that I always think of recommending when someone asks where they should eat. Everything on the menu is phenomenal! However, this is a fish restaurant and I haven't tried the non-fish dishes so I can't speak for those. Honestly, I feel like the food gets better and better each time I go. The family that owns this restaurant are so nice and welcoming as well and the prices are great!

We ordered Salmon fish.but the lady who is running the resaurant,brought us blue fish,fresh right from the lake. It was the best mistake. I enjoyed every moment. I highly recommend this place. Try their red seafood soup. I gave it 5 stars for service,placr,food and price.

The cleanest bathroom I have seen in total Austria. Owner is a lady who has a very nice smile. The food is excellent. Try it ! It is not expensive and it is kid friendly!

Amazing food and great atmosphere

Wir haben reserviert und würden auch empfehlen zu reservieren. Sie haben eine urige Gaststube für 60 Personen und ein Extrastüberl für 20 Personen mit Blick auf den See. Leider konnten wir nicht auf der Terasse sitzen, weil es regnete. Wir wurden nett empfangen und saßen im Stüberl. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend und die Bestellungen kamen rasch ohne lange Wartezeiten.
Das Essen war ein Traum. Die Fischsuppe schmeckte hervorragend und alle Fischspeisen waren wirklich große Portionen und für Fisch echt noch sehr preiswert. Den Salat konnte man sich am Salatbuffet holen, es gab eine schöne Auswahl mit Dressings und Essig und Ölen und schmeckte sehr gut. Ich konnte nicht mal zusammenessen und mir wurde es eingepackt.
Es gab eine herrliche Nachspeisenkarte die wir leider nicht mehr geniessen konnten, dass müssen wir nachholen. Die selbstgemachte Cremeschnitte haben wir uns geteilt und war sehr lecker.
Kommen bald wieder und können es nur empfehlen.

Affacciato sul lago Traun e nei pressi della Cittadina di Gmunden, questo ristorante propone una buona proposta di pesce di lago. Piatti squisiti, accompagnati da buona birra e accoglienza famigliare. Ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo.
Consigliatissimo per chi vuole assaggiare del buon pesce di lago fresco.
