Landzeit Voralpenkreuz

My favourite Landzeit! Great place to make a stop if you have furry friends. Salad bar is so delicious, you can have a proper lunch by eating only "salad". They have noodle-salad, ham with horseradish, interesting combinations of fruit and vegetables that tastes so good. And waffles...!!! Sooo mouth watering! And if you happen to be served by a male while ordering waffles, you will be overwhelmed by his kindness, politeness and the effort he puts in to make them. ❤ Although Landzeit is pricey it is worth to visit.

Amazing and refined experience right in the Alps! I don't know Austria very well, but probably this is one of the best things it can offer.

Landzeit rest stops are located all along the highway system of Austria. We stopped at a few during the Vienna to Salzburg roadtrip. The quality and variety of food in each Landzeit is just excellent. Very good food prepared fresh and easy to access and pay for. Service is quick. One can have a full meal, or just appetize with coffee/beer/drink of choice and pastry/snacks. The scenery around Landzeits is nice, patio dining is available in fair weather conditions. Service at the pay counter can be not so friendly. Otherwise, a great dining experience at Landzeit.

We stopped here as it is a rest stop. They have a gourmet banquet, as it turns out. Fast food,not junk.

Stop here for lunch and bathroom breaks. Totally different from our rest areas in the 🇺🇸. Clean and the food is great!!!

Great selection of food and drinks at this rest area, but really expensive

Next to the gas station... Free parking, free toilet, lots of space, showers... Fantastic beautiful place with amazingly delicious food... excellent service, the staff is cultured and positive, everyone is working and busy every time... a variety of choices food for every taste, very very cozy atmosphere.. there is a desire to stay here... very clean, the toilet is perfectly clean.. the place is popular, there are many visitors... very glad that we stopped at this place... and I advise everyone ... next time we will be on the way and we will definitely stop here...🍰☕🍽

Not cheap, but coming from a trip to Germany most likely the first or second place to get some decent food on the highway. You will be able to get a very decent main course and a fresh fruit juice for just under 30€. Love the food market concept, so good to be back in Austria where there are still decent highway restaurants

While returning from Hallstutt back to Vienna, the bus stopped for rest for 30 mins. Great food with nice variety and special thanks to Chef Emad Yanni who was so helpful and very nice person who made my choice of what I want so easy 😃 thanks a lot Chef Emad 😃

One could never expect anything like that "just off the road". Big, clean, tasty, beautiful, they have it all. The choice is amazing. Hope to find another restaurant of this chain for the next time in Austria.
My dinner (salad bar, large juice, chicken leg, salmon canapé (mmmm.... salmon canapé), strudel (they have perfect strudel) and cafe latte was hearty (and a bit too much, but that is my own fault) and cost me 36 euros.

Nice selection of buffet. Moderately priced. Good ambience. Little bit off the motorway but easily accessible. Take your time out for lunch while driving long distance.

Nice staff, big room. Not perfect clean but good enough for 1 night.

Very nice place to stop while on a trip. I've never stayed at the hotel, but the food and location (and restrooms) are nice enough to get me to stop here whenever I drive from Austria to Germany. Certainly the nicest "rest-station" along the regular route I take, as far as I'm aware at least.

This is high quality restaurant. Fresh food. Excellent quality. Variety of choices. Good atmosphere. Clean, good smelling toilets-and for free! I stop by by regularly. This is self service Landzeit, which I prefer rather than the one with service staff. Good parking facility, you always find it easy to park nearby the entrance.

A beautiful restaurant, a little more than expensive, the food is delicious but the coffee is not very tasty.

Excellent food choices, from sweets to meats, lots of fruit and salads. Do not forget to take a natural juice. You can not go wrong here. Toilets are very clean and free. Lots of parking spaces. There's a small playground outside for kids and a small table inside. People are very friendly. But - it's quite expensive.

Very nice rest stop. More than 100 parking places for cars, and also for buses. The restaurant is a buffet style, with good quality food, salads, desserts. There is a very nice playgeound for the children as well. The staff is very friendly, there is wifi and the toilettes are free of charge.
