Gasthof Arriach

We loved staying at Gasthof, It's just a few minutes by car from the Gerlitzen ski slopes and about 10 minutes from the Bad Kleinkirchheim ski slope. The host family was so sweet, and welcoming. They are fluent in English, Dutch, and German.

The house is clean and breakfast is provided, which is both delicious and plentiful. There's also a restaurant on the first floor, run by the host family, where you can enjoy a delightful dinner. The rooms are well-designed and fully equipped. With its ideal room distribution, Gasthof Ariach is perfect for groups of friends, families, and couples

We have visited Gasthof Arriach for the second time in 3 months this year. We stayed with our family (first, our family of 3 and one grandma; second, our family of 3) and we were very impressed by the quality of service and hospitality. Both Kelly and Elian (the van den Akkers) make you really feel like you are part of the family, adding a lot of tips and tricks about Carinthia.
The guesthouse is located in a beautiful and peaceful area, surrounded by nature and fresh air and the rooms are big, clean and comfortable . We enjoyed the scenic views and the relaxing atmosphere both in summer and late autumn.
The breakfast and dinner are absolutely delicious. When the kitchen is closed (usually on Sundays), you still have a very good restaurant choice 800m away.
It was a perfect getaway for us and we highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a cozy and memorable stay. Definitely coming back with more friends!

We are returning guests at this wonderful inn where we are always very warmly welcomed. The location is very nice and close to many attractions suitable for children of all ages. Kelly is a great cook, everything she prepares is fresh and tasty. The entire family is very friendly and open. I recommend getting a Karnten Card in order to explore all the options in the area, it is very cost efficient. And this is not all, there is stuff to do not only during the summer, but also during the winter. If you go once, for sure you will return.

We’re hiking the Alpa Adria trail and had the good fortune of staying and dining at this wonderful family owned inn. Most of our group is vegan and they prepared an *amazing* vegan dinner and dessert to die for. And to top it all off, the family noticed our interest in their three sheep they have as pets and invited us to help feed them! So memorable and what fun. Stay and eat here if you’re in Arriach - you will not be disappointed - and the family couldn’t be more lovely.

more than you can expect from a structure, family athmosphere, kindly owners that are always ready to provide informations and ask your feedback. We felt rocked for the whole stay here. The structure is new and the rooms are very nice, clean and wide, good position useful to reach most of the touristic place in Carinthia (Wörthersee and Ossiack lake, Villach, etc...). We also consumed a fantastic dinner with simple but well done food. We are going to leave tomorrow and we hope to stay here again. Very Recommended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful place in quiet little village just minutes away from Gerlitzen ski resort. Rooms are spacious, really clean and the beds are fantastic (which is a huge plus is you came to ski, hike, bike etc.). Gasthof is run by a really nice family with 3 daughters. Eventhough we booked B&B service they kindly offer to make us dinner too, my kids were thrilled with wienerschnitzel we had, I was thrilled with the fact that I've paid half of what I would have in a restaurant :)

Definitively a place to recommend - we will come back soon!

Welcome entry by the hosts and lovely place. Has a nice back garden with a lovely swing to chill a bit after a long walk. Great breakfast with lots of options and fresly cooked eggs and waffels and so much more.
Nice bed to sleep in and comfy rooms with lots of space.
Hospitable hosts, they started new here and you can definitely see their hearts for the space allready, and gread service.
we got stuck due to a thonderstorm, and they offered to give us a lift too the next town, so nice of them. And on top of that a little traditional goodbye cookie from their homecountry!

Gasthof Arriach is a perfect getaway place if you want to enjoy nature, peace and quiet, and if you want to put city way of life behind you for couple of days, but on the other hand bigger cities are close by if you feel the need to visit. Hosts are really friendly people who will do their best so you can feel like at home, fulfilling your every need. Rooms are spacious and clean, bathroom equipped with fresh towels and accessories, and the view is to surrounding mountains, you lay in your bed and look at the mountains-perfect.
Park place is just in front of gasthof (free), free wifi in the rooms, breakfast was great, so in total this is accommodation to recommend to everyone.

Wonderful family that hosted us. We really felt like at home. Comfortable and pleasant atmosphere, everything’s clean and smells like it’s taken care of. Balcony looks at beautiful nature and wildlife in it. We even saw deers and bambis. You can really feel love in the space as well as the host love for the job. We would like to come back and feel like home again!

Everything was absolutely perfect. Beautiful and quiet place for your holiday, sometimes with deers under the window. The owners are very nice and amazing people. We are very glad to have been here.
