Really beautiful place!
A cable car with a stunning view, about 20 minutes up to the top. You can spend 3 hours having fun here. Located right in the middle of the road from Vienna to Falchau.

It's a very family friendly place to visit. The tickets include the sailbahn, several children play facilities. The animals are all in very good conditions, look very healthy. We are happy about this visit.

I really like this place, first the view it's amazing , they take you to the top of a mountain and you can see all!! They are a lot of animals there and also a lot of free playgrounds that are so fun, the food it's also delicious in the restaurant and the show of birds was a good experiences, you can be so close of animals and also it feels secure

I recommend at the exit going down with the cars , its so fun but kind of dangerous I will recommend it only for 13+ years bc you can go very fast and you need some skill (you can go slow using the breaks also)

Amazing Zoo, great experience for Kids and adults, animals are in big natural cages.
The round trip is well organized, you have a good restaurant and playground for kids.
You end the trip down the second ban station and can also take the way down in fast bike carts or in the slides.
Great adventure on our way back from Salzburg to Vienna!

A must stop on the way from Flachau to Vienna.
Wow every thing was perfect, with kids 7,5 years old they had so much fun. With much more than just animals, many attractions for the kids and some also free.
Worth the price. Enjoyed it very much.

A very beautiful place full of mountain animals. You can choose your way up to the park. There is a cable car and a bus that will take you to a wonderful and slightly chilly altitude of cca. 1000 m in Austrian Alps, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. You can see bears, wolves, lynxes etc. from a very short distance and yet the animals have plenty of space. There is a fun playground with quite a long slide and a play park (spiepark) full of various attractions, some of which require extra fee. You have five options of going back down. You can go by bus, cable car, in a pedal cart, on a sledge or on foot. All of these options offer great experiences. Great place for a family trip.

A good place to wander around and enjoy nature scenery. We got to see the brown bears when they were fed by the caretakers. I packed some hot beverages and snacks along the way for breaks in between the walks.

We came at 14:00 in the afternoon and had to hurry a lot to see everything we wanted. There is so much to see - bears, wolves, kids park, etc. We were running the last part to not miss the last mountain karts ride at 17:30 :) Not as long as from Hochwurzen, but still fun for all family members. Next time we will come sooner to have time to enjoy everything.

Great place specially for kids: animals, fun park, for family also.

Nice views, wild animals, delicious restaurant, and a lot of cool attractions, some for an extra (fair) price. We have easily spent 6 hours here.

It was great, animals are comfortable and friendly towards humans. The resort is clean and well maintained. 😊

Excellent fun with small kids.
Very conveniently you only walk down the mountain, in a very pleasant and entertaining way. So much to do and so much to see!
Make sure to buy the 2€ wooden ball for your kids, it will be worth it.
Plan for half a day at least, or even one whole day.

Lovely mountainous zoo with Alpine animals plus a few 'mountain residents' from further away (polar wolf, yak etc), which is intermingled with a small but fine adventure park for kids. Good quality entertainment for kids, and good value for money (incl slides, a climbing house - a real one! - with an area to jump into real hay, water splash boats, mountain go-cart, etc). Plan in the better part of a day. Professional animal feeding takes place as well as birds of prey flying show. Very friendly, too.

We've never been to a place like this before but we absolutely loved it! Such a nice concept with all the animals having so much space to move around. Very well kept with lots of attractions as well.

we couldnt see all the animals, was really hot outside but it was great to see the rest. Very nice place to visit, very beautiful. Not many places to get a drink but it was ok. People should take some drinks with them when they visit Mautern. The ride up and down was amazing!

For children and adults alike. Slow down life a little.
The quality of the food is well above the average of other destinations.
We bought an annual ticket and we didn't regret it.

Excellent day trip!!! Perfect for famillies with children. There is a bus ride every 30minutes to the top in case you have small kids or you can go to the top with ski lift!
