Hotel Post

This hotel is placed in an amazing location. There are lot of spectaculare viewes and tourist routes for trips.

The owner is really nice gentleman always helped us and and we really enjoyed talking with him.

We were accommodated in villa over the hotel. Everything was clean and we were really pleased with the old feel of the villa.

The only things I could complain about:

-For breakfast, they could focus on the daily meals because they are always the same.

-The miniature golf course could be repaired

-They should bought new table tennis bats

And that is all, there were only a few things I would complain about, but otherwise I was very satisfied and would love to come back again

I can’t say anything about the rooms, we just had dinner there outside , I guess it was Biergarten . The view is breathtaking, the giant trees in the yard were impressive and beautiful. The balconies of the hotel were decorated with beautiful flowers. Those French window shutters , wood , painted green were so beautiful, rustikal style . The lobby of hotel wasn’t so extravagant, but it was charming . I ordered blood sausages with friend potatoes and sauerkraut. It was very tasty . The waitress , Yvonne was very friendly and attentive. I watched her working , she was fast , efficient and friendly . I hate going to dinners and after eating , hate waiting for waiters to appear to finally get bill and go home . Yvonne didn’t made us wait long . She was smiling all the time , even joking . I like people like that . Good service , good food ! We will definitely come again

We had a lovely 2night stay at Hotel post during our 5 day hike in Austria. The rooms were a little outdated however clean and functional. Service was good, but unfortunately personnel couldnt tell us much about the weather in the mountains. Hotel post has got a lovely terrain next to the water where you can use sups, boats, inflatables and sunbeds. A big plus!
Next to hotel post you can attend the boat which makes a tour around Attensee so you can go to other places for the day and hop on the next tour to get back. Unfortunately the town of hotel post hasnt got any supermarkets or other places to visit. You cant hire bikes, if you're there by car its no problem but if you relay on public transport or going on foot its a bummer.

This place was an absolute delight!

The place is a bit retro, which is part of the charm. The bathrooms are super new though and really nice.

The best part is the private lakeside area in front of the hotel. There is a mini golf course and a boathouse with Standup paddle boards and boats at your disposal. Even dogs are allowed in the hotel.

It's a little pricey, but the service was excellent! The rooms were super clean and the views were phenomenal. Definetly would stay here again!

My partner and I did not stay here, but we ran into some trouble getting back to the train station as we missed the last bus. We wandered across this hotel and asked for a taxi service. We could not be happier with what the man at reception did for us. He called a taxi service for us, then offered us to stay in the lobby or have a beer at the bar while we waited. A real life saver!

My partner and I didn’t actually stay in this hotel but we ended up with no way of getting back to the train station. We stumbled across this hotel and tried our luck for a number for a taxi.
The gentleman behind the counter was extremely helpful and called a taxi service for us and offered us a seat in reception.
We couldn’t have asked for him to have been anymore helpful.

A perfect place to break your ride or journey on Lake Attersee. Relaxed dining under the huge chestnut trees or more formally inside. Generous meals, cold beers and friendly service. Including ample space and stands for bikes

Very nice staff at the restaurant - during our visit I became really sick (not from their food, we didn't order any because I wanted to be home as soon as possible) the waiter was very understanding and offered us help and medicines.
His English was also at a very good level!

I did not stay in the hotel but I was in a restaurant of the hotel. Location is very good, there is a beautiful view to the lake. The food was delicious and portions were big. The personnel is friendly and polite. There is a free wifi. The place itself is very comfortable and calm. Perfect place to have tasty meal and just relax.

We came for snack and beer after klettersteig. We sat down on beer garden.
Staff was pretty friendly, beer is round 4euro / pint.
We ordered some soups, with good quality - ca 5 euro a plate.

The view from the hotel rooms is breathtaking, the stuff friendly and the rooms spacious and clean! The breakfast buffet included a lot of great food to start your day!

Nothing to complain about. Friendly staff, an excellent view and the mountain hike route right besides the hotel was enjoyable to walk and had a truly mesmerizing view over the mountains of salzburg.

A wonderful place to stay! I do recommend every traveler of this area to stay for a couple of nights here. Peaceful, amazingly beautiful, good food & every good thing you might expect from your trip! 😊
