A very convenient place if you are coming from the Italian Dolomites to try the authentic Austrian kitchen. Very well cooked by all means. We tries their Schnitzel and their splendid dear meat dish which was so delicious. The service is a bit slow, perhaps because it is a very huge place and they have shortage in staff however friendly and of a high sense of hospitality. Their fresh salad was so good. The menu includes a variety between Italian and Austrian dishes. Prices are of an average. Loved the place. Highly recommended.

The service of the restaurant is amazing and the food great! It is 3 min by car from the Loacker chocolate factory, which makes a great combo - factory visit and lunch.

I would like to write about restaurant (July 2023). Friendly waiters, fluent in English, can give you advice about food. Price for this region is normal. Fantastic beer and food. If you like Austrian food it is a good place to visit.

Gorgeous local food at a reasonable price.
We kept going back, it was very tasty.
Staff is very friendly, too.

We had really delicious traditional dinner here with friendly stuff. Also we met cats here which we really liked. :)

Eine absolut empfehlenswerte Einkehrmöglichkeit! Das wunderschöne alte Haus ist liebevoll und gemütlich eingerichtet, das Personal ausgenommen freundlich und die Küche hervorragend. Regionale Küche in auffallend guter Qualität. Immer wieder einen Besuch wert! Wir waren nur zu Essen da, daher können wir die Zimmer nicht beurteilen.

Wir waren zum Essen dort. Ich muss sagen: Eines der besten Wiener Schnitzel die wir bisher gegessen haben. Total dünn und Superlecker. Sehr netter Chef. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können es weiterempfehlen. Wir waren nur dort essen, nicht übernachten.

Abbiamo trascorso l'ultimo dell'anno in compagnia di amici; soddisfatti del cibo eccellente, l'impiattamento elegante, le porzioni perfette, ci ha colpito la gentilezza e la professionalità del personale. Tutto perfetto, anche l'ambiente caldo e confortevole. Piccolissimo appunto: forse un po troppo veloce la sequenza delle portate....nel complesso ottimo!

Hungrig und auf der Durchreise bekamen wir mit unserem großen Hund einen gemütlichen Platz am Fenster. Das Essen war hervorragend, die Portion ordentlich und alle sehr freundlich. Wenn auch nur kurz, haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Abbiamo cenato al ristorante, tutto più che squisito! Piatti super abbondanti, ben cucinati, buone materie prime. Il personale gentilissimo e cortese!! Tutto pulito e ambiente veramente delizioso! Consigliatissimo, bravi bravi bravi

Siamo capitati per caso il sabato sera in questo ristorante. Il locale è molto accogliente e c’è parcheggio. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo e il servizio è stato eccellente. Complimenti ai camerieri per la gentilezza e eleganza che hanno mostrato. Consigliamo questo locale. PS: da provare il semifreddo al miele d’abete rosso, strepitoso!

Das Ambiente, das Personal sowie der Chef sind nur zu empfehlen.
Ich war beruflich 8 Tage in Sillian und war dort 6x essen, aufgrund des Ruhetags musste ich 2x ausweichen.

Sobald ich wieder in der Nähe bin, werde ich dort erneut einkehren.
