Plenty of free parking, recommend P2, and a friendly ticket desk. Well signposted circular route through some of the best gorge scenery in the Alps including huge powerful waterfalls. Walking boots needed for steep or stony sections. After the main gorge, the route continues round on the road with some more views of the landscape. Start early and take your time, it's 100% worth it! If you love a great waterfall hike you might like our YouTube channel Pack Lunch and Travel for ideas round Europe, the UK and beyond.

Beautiful gorge with two major falls. Easy hike with a prepared path. Hiking shoes are very recommended. With warm weather the gorge might give a little cooling when walking in the shade. Although parts are also in the sun. At the end you walk back via the main road. The total hike can be done in one and a half hours.

It was nice experience. It's 2.5km walking and you must wear the right shoes. Sometimes it is slippery.

Great gorge, must do when visiting Karnten. A nice hike with a wide view over the waterfalls and nature.

The path can be sometimes a bit steep or the stair steps a bit high. It could be difficult for smaller children, people with walking difficulties or small dogs.

Compared to Raggaslucht this one has more nature wide view. Only the walk down is a large part over the road. Last piece of trail down is rocky.

Total hike (round trip) is about 4km and will take you approximately 2-2.5hrs.

Parking is next to the cash desk and well arranged.

Moderate steep steps and well marked circular trail. Well connected with the city mallnitz by public transport

I was blown away by the beauty of this place. Just when you think this was it, you'll get a surprise that it even goes further.
The route goes along the cliff and I do recommend being careful because there are some pretty steep parts, most places provide railings which you can hold on to.

Definitely recommend it if you're nature lover!

Very interesting short and easy trail with great waterfalls. A pity it's so short and you can't visit nearby castle (private). But all in all it's worth the 7eur price.

Pleasant walk with spectacular views on the waterfalls and the canyon.
Not for people with difficulties to walk. Decent shoes are necessary

Great walk through the Schlucht and combined it with the hike up to Himmelbauer. Conditions need to be good enough for the last part as the Gehweg is often steep and but foremost slippery when wet.

Just give it a visit. You will enjoy the walk, the shade, the views, the water all around. Easy walk, but long enough to stretch your legs a bit :-)

Fun nature experience, however be prepared for rough paths, I don't recommend doing this in warm weather, but the waterfalls are gorgeous!

A great canyon hike. Not too tiring, manageable easy for kids even late in the afternoon. Ideal for hot days as it's quite cool and there are several opportunities to get fresh, Clean, refreshing water! Raspberries along the way as well... Really cool place. It's about 4,5km, not steep. Beautiful landscapes. Go there!

Very beautyful walk along the gorge. Some parts of the walkway are high off the ground, so sturdy legs and no fear of heights are required.

This is a kind of Klamm which means that you get an opportunity to see beautiful natural creatures at rocky places and in canyons without special climbing equipment because there is an artificial wooden floor built on a given path to show the most impressive waterfalls and rocks. This path is 2.5km long here and you gain an unforgettable experience while walking at these magical landscapes.
