Hauser Kaibling

A cable car provides convenient access to the hill. The family with children will find a lot of fun here. I can recommend it.

Really modern ski location. All the Hauser Kaibling team were friendly and very helpful which is great when visiting from another country.

The restaurants and bars are also excellent!!

Pretty good mountain. I liked easy parking and access to the gondola. The weather was a bit foggy on top, so not the very picturesque day as such. But, on the other hand, not crowded

I would say it’s in the top three ski resort which I’ve been so far. Even though the snow quality is not good as much as I expected because of warm temp, it’s enough for us to get amusement in the various slopes.

Very nice resort! It has a lot to offer to all categories of skiers from beginners to advanced! Amazing slopes, excellent lifts, nice cafes!

Loved the slopes, well maintained even in the post-season (late March), in the 15 C. The lifts were all comfortable and well connected.
Only thing to improve is the accessibility of the top: the last 100 m with cca. 10 m elevation is missing, not very handy walking up with a snowboard. Also the connection route no.6 is not really suitable for boarders.

Fantastic slopes, service and gondolas. Incredible skiing and summer hikes!

We returned yesterday from Austria and I think we enjoyed skiing in Hauser Kaibling very much. We liked the varity of slopes (blue/red/black), also their width. I was a bit surprised that the piste was not groomed on Wednesday (we came in the morning) but anyway very good feeling prevails. If we have a chance to come back one day, we will definitely return here.

With summercard you can visit this area for free (dogs are for 6 €). Nearby valley station is foodtruck (burgers, hotdogs or sandwiches), it was good and for a fair price.

Absolutely magnificent. From the staff at the front desk to the rides uphill. Extremely glad that i have passed by this attraction which i originally only planned to stay in Hallstat (overrated).

Our favourite resort. Large. Plenty of ski slopes including fun slope.

Great place to spend winter holiday. New infrastrukture, lifts, ski huts, restaurants. Various difficult ski slopes, everyone find interesting slopes. Great, long XXL Fun slopes for children and adult. Very comfortable connection to next hill - Planai.

Comfortable liftschacht and amazing view. When you go up different restaurants were you can unwind and have drinks. Second lift was a surprise very nice.

Wondeful facilities and staff. Eventhough the weather has been too warm, the staff work all night to get enough snow and slopes for us. Thank you!!

The place is awesome. Everything is organized so good that I cannot even imagine what could be better. Hiking, food, entertainments for children, skiing, paraglider tandem flights, free Wi-Fi and spectacular breathtaking views. What else one might need here?

What an amazing mountain. Many lifts, both summer and winter attractions for kids and adults. I have been visiting for over 20 years and I am not planning to ever stop coming back here :-)
Good parking options. Amazing infrastructure. Cosy hütten all over the mountain. They are telling the truth when they tell you they have the most beautiful slopes. Also they are always using top notch technology.
For the best views I recommend going up the Barfallspitze and as a bonus you can see the beautiful Moeralmsee.

Our favourite ski area. Perfect maitenance, wide slopes and fewer people than in other areas (including the neighboring and more renowned Schladming-Planai). Slope 4 usually in good shape even in the afternoon.

Excellent infrastructure and professional preparation of ski slopes. Great appreciation for the owners and crew of this ski station. Unfortunately, climate change is probably the biggest problem for the business owner and us skiers. We just shortened our stay in Schladming yesterday 17.03.2020 because it is impossible to ski:
1. it is too warm. Everything is melting. One of the thermometers at the lift was plus 17C at 12.00!
2. Is too many people skiing, we had to wait over 30 minutes in the line. Horrors.

And how much you can sit in restaurants - although they serve delicious food, that's not why you come here mainly.

Great program for the whole family, also for dogs :-) Nice hiking tours with great panorama!
