Delicious meal and fantastic atmosphere. We had the most delicious schnitzel and roasted pork. The service was fast and the staff was very friendly and made for the perfect experience that just hit the spot. Highly recommend.

Delightful new years dinner in a traditional Tirolean house. The service was very attentive and the menu quite well planned.
The price was also fair. What we enjoyed most was the atmosphere and how all dishes came simultaneously to the guests in all different tables so that we could exit the year together. We recommend coming here back and will definitively consider it for our next visit! 5 stars!

Not that touristic. Traditional ambient with the track of 400 years old house. Food is tasty. Service is quick. And menu is also in englisch.

Amazing location, the restaurant is inside an almost 400 year old building. So much character and the menu is very traditional.
Wine by the glass and by the bottle available.

What a great find on a slow Sunday evening just 5 minutes from our hotel. Kind staff quickly found us a table and they had great choices on the menu of very authentic Austrian cuisine. Käseknödelsuppe was absolutely delicious that made me want more. Very quaint ambiance with rustic walls and decor.

So interesting restaurant. The oldest restaurant in town. Beautiful Indoor, typical tirol food but so so delicious .

Strolled up on a midweek night and what a find. Totally authentic chalet interior and exceptional food. Definitely will return on our next visit.

This is a very special location for the lunch and dinner. Very good food in 10 minutes walking distance from Zillertaler Bergbahn Station. Very "urig" and original food of the region. Thumbs up!

Very authentic Austrian restaurant with amazing food (we came again the next day), friendly staff and reasonable prices. Absolutely recommend it.

A cozy place in the Mayrhofen ski resort, some minutes walk from the center.
We went there for a dinner during the last stay in Zillertal this year.
The wooden building with low ceiling creates a very special atomsphere and looks in the very traditional way.
Food is delicious, you can choose from a variety of different soups, main courses and nice dessert.
My personal favourites:
-Gröstl (main dish)
-special version of Kaiserschmarrn made with berries with violet color and fruity-sweet taste (dessert)
For beer lovers don't miss the Zillertaler beer from the region.

If you happen to be in the main season in Mayrhofen, make a reservation in the restaurant.

Authentic Austrian restaurant, fantastic place to go for great food , served by traditionally dressed staff, who were lovely and English speaking to a degree ( certainly better than I can speak Austrian!!) Thoroughly recommend!

What a wonderful spot. Definitely our favourite restaurant in Mayerhofen, a bit off the beaten track, sumptuous food, friendly service, and extremely warm, cosy historic interior. Highly recommended
