Chiemsee Camping Rödlgries

Nice place, waters good to swim in. Loved it until a swarm of mosquitos came and sucked me dry, I got no blood left in me 😉

My first and only so far camping I've been to in Germany, but it was the best in terms of facilities and organization I've seen. Had fresh water and grey water disposal and electricity at the pitch(which was huge BTW), had very nice motorhome service area near the entrance, the best playgrounds for the kids I've seen in a camping, clean facilities, beach with grass plus sand at the lake, place for launching boats, restaurant, and was huge. Sadly stayed only a day as we were just splitting the road

Great place to camp, right next to the lake. The staff at the restaurant were super friendly, they even shared some of their staff meal with me. Would definitely go back again!

The lake is beautiful, I enjoyed the calm, serene atmosphere, the fun bike rides, the lovely evening walks, I would recommend this as a get away vacation.

Unser Aufenthalt auf dem Campingplatz "Rödlgries" war rundum gelungen. Die Nähe zum Chiemsee war ein absolutes Highlight, der große Strand ideal zum Entspannen und Spielen. Besonders unsere Kinder waren begeistert vom umfangreichen Angebot und dem großen Spielplatz.

Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Sanitäranlagen stets sauber und gepflegt. Ein kleiner Nachteil waren die etwas engen Duschkabinen und die fehlende Kartenzahlung im Restaurant, der nächste Geldautomat ist 3,5 km entfernt.

Die kurze Anfahrt von der Autobahn war sehr positiv, und trotz der Nähe war die Autobahn kaum zu hören. Fußläufig gibt es zwei kleinere Restaurants, und für Ausflüge reicht ein Fahrrad vollkommen aus.

Der Ausblick auf die Berge und den Chiemsee war atemberaubend und trug wesentlich zum Urlaubsgefühl bei. Auch die Nähe zur Fähre war ein großer Pluspunkt.

Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt eine wunderbare Erfahrung. "Rödlgries" ist ein idealer Ort für Familien, die Erholung und Spaß in schöner Umgebung suchen.
