Visited this awesome coffee roasters a few weeks ago, great experience with coffee ground to my specific machine. Purchased online a few days ago, super fast delivery of their outstanding coffee. I encourage you to switch to their coffee, simply superior to any other I have tasted in Australia, many thanks.

I’ve bought a number of products from Martin Street Coffee Roasters including: the Gertrude signature blend. We were staying in Blackwood and I ordered online and it was ready to collect the next morning. I found Simon to be very friendly and helpful in giving advice regarding the grind for my Espresso pot. I loved the aroma of roasting coffee that greeted me as I walked into the shop and tasting it lived up to my expectations. Since then I have ordered beans online and they have arrived very promptly. They tick all the boxes for me, great coffee, friendly and excellent service!

The products at Martin Street Coffee Roasters are certainly of the highest quality and service level the same. I have tasted various products, the coffee is lovely and I found myself looking forward to starting the day with a Gertrude Blend and then in the afternoon a Hunky Dory is perfect being low caffeine. The hand blend fresh chai really is fresh, the moment i opened the pack, it took me to another place, sensational. Hot chocolate lovers, go no further, this is the best!

Have tried a few of the local Melbourne and Victorian coffee roasters and we have to say Martin Street 'Gertrude Blend' is our favourite coffee bean for our coffee machine. The bonuses are the friendly customer service that is above and beyond what you'd expect these days and taking a drive to scenic Blackwood to pick it up, delivery is also fast when ordered online providing aus post don't have delays. Their small batch hot chocolate is also amazing.

I live not for from Martin Street Coffee, and as a life-long lover of coffee I couldn’t be happier!

The owners, Simon and Simon, are really lovely guys and you can tell from the taste of their coffee that they put a lot of love and time into making it.

Since trying their Gertrude Blend about 3 years ago, I simply haven’t bought coffee anywhere else.

I now regularly buy the large bags of Gertrude Blend whole coffee beans and the aroma in the kitchen every morning, when I grind them, is truly heavenly!

Gertrude Blend coffee beans are the best I’ve found, and I would highly recommend them who enjoys a coffee with richness and complexity but without any bitterness... it really is a lovely blend.

I also enjoy their hot chocolate, and a friend of mine really loves their Chai blend too.

I have been purchasing Martin Street coffee beans via subscription for approximately a year now. They were a godsend during the lockdown pandemic and I looked forward to their weekly delivery. Both the coffee (Gertrude Signature Blend) and the Ultimate Hot Chocolate are delicious and I can't see me buying coffee beans from anywhere else now. Both Simon and Simon have been great with their response to any questions I have had. Brilliant customer service.

My wife and I had a coffee when we were in Blackwood a while ago. We both agreed it was great coffee and I have had regular deliveries ever since, both the Gertrude blend and the decaf. We used Martin St Coffee Roasters for years, first in our small deli in Daylesford, then in our larger business 'winespeake'. During covid, we both served their coffee as takeaway and sold a significant amount of retail. Due to our own changes in business direction, we'll be very sad not to be working with Martin St and I'm hoping other businesses in Daylesford and surrounds will take on using them as a wholesaler as they are EXCELLENT! In everything from taste/flavour, to quick and easy deliveries and communications, to pricing, to support...everything! Such great professional service from a small boutique roaster and quality was always consistent and wonderful. I will continue to buy their beans for my own personal consumption...someone jump on these guys so we can continue to support them.

Gertrude signature blend has been my go to coffee for over 3yrs now. We really enjoy the blend and is always consistent. Also, their service delivery is excellent and only ever takes a few days to receive order.

While travelling in between lock down we came across this fantastic coffee shop in Blackwood. After trying their coffee I was blown away by the taste. Martin Street coffee is now my favourite coffee. I love the amazing flavours,.

I was going to say 'best coffee in Victoria,' however in all honesty this place has the best coffee I've had in the whole of Australia! Absolutely delicious and such professional attention to detail. These guys know what they're doing! I urge you to try - you won't be disappointed! :)

In early March 2020 my fiancée and I took a short trip to the Daylesford area. She is from the United States and was briefly visiting; a coffee lover and keen to show her the area, we travelled to Blackwood. It was an incredible trip and, at the end of our time there, we both purchased 500gm whole beans.

Well, the pandemic happened. Days later we were scrambling to get her on a plane home. I haven’t seen her since, nor do we know when that might occur. However: we both kept our bags and used them concurrently during a desperate time: we needed the memories of that trip and something to connect us to each other. We even told her mother about the trip, however I don’t recall that conversation.

Many months later said mother in law to be surprised me with more coffee. It’s not an understatement to say I sobbed! Being so separated I have come to truly appreciate online businesses - especially those that allow international orders. While we can’t meet in person the ability to send a gift is so very important.

In March this year I received a totally surprise packet of samples (Chai & Coffee) with a hand written note, thanking me for my custom. This was completely unnecessary and spoke volumes about the standards to which Martin Street holds itself. I have since posted these samples on to my mother in law; she continues to surprise me with refills!!

I absolutely adore your coffee beans: the acidity is correct without being bitter. I’ve since tried many other small business brands in Victoria and they simply don’t match. I use them in my automatic drip machine, keeping one thermos for recess at school - even after it’s left sitting, Martin Street doesn’t deteriorate.

The Chai mix is also a firm favourite. Opening a bag is inhaling joy; old school heated milk in a saucepan with a generous serving of the mix and allowed to steep has winter nights catered for.

Martin Street has become a part of our family and I wanted to express my thanks for being a part of that journey. I am a very very happy customer and can’t wait to get back to see you (hopefully with my fiancée) soon.

I’ve had coffee beans here several times. Always makes a great cup. I think there’s something in the Blackwood air and water that makes things great! And they are always quick to respond for my coffee pick-ups.

They are the reason I don't drink coffee much anymore! It's because they make an AMAZING COFFEE and I have to travel over an hour to get there. I can not drink coffee anywhere else as it does not compare & I won't waste money on anyone else's. Dramatic yes.. The food here is amazing too, quality food and coffee & friendly service.
