Most accurate surf forecasting for Australian beaches. I have been a paid subscriber for a decade. Well worth it, especially if you are the kind of surfer who explores.

Worth the subscription for access to the surfcams alone. But do appreciate the 2-3 reports each day for Perth Beaches.

To those giving a 1 star review and no comment, that is 'B' grade to say the least.
I have been with Swellnet for many years now and think Ben and his team have done an awesome job in growing the platform from and inaccurate and unreliable swell predictor, to the very opposite. I subscribe to Swellnet Pro and it is most often accurate these days in regards to size, direction, period as well as the other contributing factors. The winds can be occasionly off but nothing will ever beat local knowledge of wind conditions.

I live in Adelaide, and generally surf the South Coast. As a shift worker, I use Swellnet Pro to plan my week and plot my options for surfing and I'm happy to say, that I haven't made the drive from Adelaide to the South Coast and not surfed for years thanks to Swellnet.

Yes, it costs money, but it's worth every cent if it helps me to pick my windows and get in the water.

To the haters, no Ben is not a mate of mine, I am just happy that I can trust Swellnet Pro enough to schedule my week (loosley enough) and gives myself the best chance of getting in the water, which is healthy for me.

Keep up the good work Swellnet.
I'm happy. 😊

I've dabbled with Magicseaweed, Coastal Watch and a few of the others in the past, but I keep honing back in on Swellnet. They keep it simple: accurate forecasts and a bunch of really engaging content. I've never met them, but the team behind it come across as authentic, humble and well versed in their craft. Think classic underground shredlord attitudes...
The 2 week forecast is invaluable. As a budding weather geek myself, the stuff I've learnt from their blog posts over the years - differences in El Nino / El Nina patterns, mid latitude lows, water temps, sand migration patterns - has been mind boggling.
They abide by the golden code of "not blowing up mysto spots" there's very few left and they're worth protecting, it's nice to see cropped landmarks etc on photos or journalistic pieces.
The stories they report on are always thought provoking. They never disproportionately stack the deck in favour of the herd, instead, challenge the reader to think outside their own potential biases.

All this value - for less than a beer, (mid strength at that). Get on board I can highly recommend it for all ocean goers.

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the experience I have had with Swellnet. I have been paying a monthly subscription fee for the past five or so months to access a live camera for Fishermans Beach, but have not been able to view it even once.

Initially, I was prompted to pay a fee to access the camera, which I did. However, when I attempted to view it, I was informed that it was unavailable. I assumed this was a temporary issue, but have been checking the camera periodically for the past few months and it has remained unavailable. Despite multiple attempts to contact customer service, I have not received a satisfactory solution or explanation for this issue.

I feel like I have been misled by Swellnet and have paid for something that I have not been able to use. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of support and accountability shown to me as a paying customer.

Overall, my experience with Swellnet has been negative and I would not recommend their services.

Swellnet cameras have been off for the past few days. Very annoying and it seems to happen quite frequently.
Not sure I'll renew subs 😠

It’s easy enough looking at gfs charts to work out what’s going on as far as when swell will arrive.
My partner taught me over 12months how to predict when surf will arrive.
Changing direction shoaling and refraction
We both liked swellnet just don’t look anymore.
People that are paying are getting robbed.
Your better off checking out Willy weather if you need to know what’s going on

A 20-30 seconds ad before the surf cam which last for 5 seconds and followed by another long ad. Better stop the access for non member then
