CHOUX STRING

Loved this little cafe while we were in Kingscliff. Nice coffee, friendly staff and good toasties. Had an almond croissant on my way home and it was delish can’t wait to come back again for goodies!

Great place for yummy food! We had a of sausage roll and a toasted chicken and salad wrap and they were so yummy! Lovely staff!

Walking through Kingscliff looking for coffee and breakfast, we happened across this cafe. The beef bacon cheese pie was yummy, as was the ham and cheese croissant. The coffees were also good, good flavour and milk heated to perfection. Great to visit if you're looking for a snack or a drink.

As a coeliac, eating out can be stressful, especially when you're tired and hungry. These guys understood what to do to make my meal coeliac friendly, even without extra prompting I.e. making sure there was no cross contamination on the toaster.
They had gluten free buns available, made sure the ingredients were fresh and not taken from another sandwich and took caution when toating my sandwich. Not to mentioned it was just delicious. Had iced coffees in a smaller takeaway just how we like it also, not in the large ones with way too much milk.
The staff were super friendly, and helpful, and happy to help even though I had felt bad for letting them know I was coeliac. Love it!

Pleasantly surprised. I had the Chouxben (Reuben) sandwich - the Silverside and sauerkraut was well prepared and very tasty.
Customer service was great, friendly staff.

I had the Chouxben, so yummie. I told my wife, ' If i wasn't full, id get another one.' She had a half strength iced coffee and it was actually half strength. So many cafes get it wrong but she loved hers. We are up from Tassie for a month, head back tomorrow. Choux string definitely a highlight on the two occasions we went there. Many thanks.

Absolutely loved popping into Choux String the other day. Their pies and pastries are the best I’ve ever had and the coffee is just as good. All done with a smile from the staff along the way. My new regular.

I was in a rush to get to an appointment and thought I would try the new spot in town. I raced in, grabbed a toastie, (which was delicious and perfectly toasted) a coffee and a small treat. Had it all in my hand within minutes and was back in my car and on my way. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. Will definitely return with the family.

We love the idea that you can pop in during peak our cafe time, and grab a quick coffee and take away without the lines and wait.
Quick service and the grab and go yoghurts and salads are so handy for me because I work all day and need a healthy take away lunch which is hard to find in Kingy.
Also being able to get a take away coffee past 2pm is a game changer.
Pre- school pick up coffee is life!
I’m a loyal Box customer but the string is pulling at the heartstrings… pun very much intended!

Choux string is the best for a quick coffee fix and I’ve loved the daily salads on offer. It has never disappointed and it is my new walk-by choice in Kingscliff 😍

Popped in to grab takeaway lunch for the family, so many baguettes to choose from with the the bread baked daily and yum treats! 🤤 Will definitely be back.

What a place!! Highly reccomend the choux string. Fast service , great coffee and potentially the best pie I’ve ever eaten . This place is new but no doubt it will be around for a while

Chouxstring - chicken avo mayo and brie. Very tasty when toasted too.

Best vegetarian panini/baguette. Staff were lovely and accomodating, place was very clean and tidy and had a nice outdoor sitting area.

Obsessed with this place! Great coffee, delicious takeaway treats & great service! Highly recommend!
