Jamie is a fantastic coach! From the initial phone call to the lesson you could sense a professional attitude with his goal to ensure your safety, fun and ultimately make you the best kite surfer possible. At no point did I feel his interests were elsewhere. His sequential approach to teaching made skill transition and goals reached effortless. Having had a prior lesson elsewhere, it was unquestionable his approach. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Jamie. Enjoy! Griff W

I came out of this first lesson with a real sense of understanding the basics, as Jamie took his time and was very thorough. Safety is priority which was a concern for me before the lesson. Jamie was very organised and helpful. I already had some limited kite experience but was not confident enough after long brake.
Jamie made sure that I revised everything I needed and got me started fairly quickly.
His approach to teaching was fantastic specially due to the constant communication via system build in the helmet.
I received constant monitoring and instructions while in the water which made my learning much more efficient, enjoyable and easier.

New to Kitesurfing, wanted detailed instruction and, importantly, skills training. Too easy to get hurt out there if you don't know what you're doing. Jamie was very professional, explained, demonstrated and tested each area in deep deep detail. He is very thorough and insists you understand the equipment and the risks involved - exactly what I was looking for. He has years of experience to back up his coaching - very important to me. Tomorrow, I will be taking my second lesson with him. I highly recommend hiring him as an instructor if you intend to invest time in this sport.

I signed up for a 3hr lesson with Jamie.

I was a bit skeptical, some kite/surf/adventure instructors can be a bit snotty and they might be good at their sport but suck as teachers. Jamie was great, very friendly and I was actually impressed by his teaching skills.

He's all hands on and has you do everything right from the beginning to start building muscle memory and get the hang of it. He's great at figuring out what level you're at and working from there, so the lesson is totally customized to you. Safety is maintained throughout the lesson.

He even sent some after lesson manuals to look at online so I can review the lesson.

Jamie is an excellent instructor with years of experience and knowledge to pass on. I had my first lesson with him and was taught everything I needed to know in order to be safe and self sufficient when kitesurfing. I would recommend Jamie to anyone!

I had my first ever kite surfing lesson last week with Jamie.
He seems very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything properly, making sure that we are both on the same page.
I learnt skills about how to safely launch, fly and land the kite.
He’s very patient and I feel very comfortable learning with him.

The most personal and focused training I’ve ever had in anything. Considering this sport has the power to take control of you in a split second it’s a pretty scary thing so it makes sense to me that you want someone you can trust. Jamie is incredibly friendly and authentic and above all extremely humble, making you feel like you legitimately are in safe hands. He makes you feel incredibly safe and simultaneously confident with so much encouragement and such acute attention to every single thing you do that he knows exactly how to redirect you at any moment. Even better, aside from teaching you the sport he’s also constantly teaching you his knowledge of the ocean and winds and also constant tips about how to maintain your equipment and what kind of equipment you will need. He’s 100% the full package as well as a better price than most places that charge more and teach you only in a group.

Jamie was awesome and very relatable. He took his time to teach me and made sure I understood everything, all while having fun.

Kite Surfing is definitely a sport I will pursue as a result of a really great 1st lesson.

Absolute legend. Surf instructions from Jaime were clear and understandable for me as a beginner. He kept me focused on what I needed to learn in order to be confident. From setting up the kite, launching the kite and bringing the kite down to a resting position all on my own! If you are serious about what you are wanting to learn about this sport, this is the guy to learn from.

I had my first kite lesson with Jamie yesterday and found him to be a first class instructor who gave me clear directions on what, why, when and how to kite - safely.
Good guy with loads of experience, i felt I was in good hands.
I will be doing some follow up lessons with him once I get some time with my new kites :)

Jamie is an absolutely fantastic instructor. His teaching style is very steady and smooth and really helped me by zeroing in on the key things I needed to fix. This is my third kiteboarding (kitesurfing) lesson over the year and Jamie's instruction was leaps and bounds better than the others. This is THE guy to go to for a lesson!
