Thank you Dr Stephenson......Had spinal surgery with Dr Stephenson and have had an amazing result!! Dr Stephenson is very knowledgeable, explained everything so thoroughly and was the ultimate caring professional. Her staff were extremely helpful. I could not recommend Dr Stephenson highly enough!!!

Was on a Cat 2 waiting list on public health system and in a lot of pain.
Until the Dr at GC Uni outpatients put me on Cat 1 & referred me to Dr Ellison Stephenson as other surgeons had longer waiting list.

Dr Stephenson took my surgery on/herniated L5/S1 and now I’m pain free after a week and minimal scaring from small incision, well it was instant pain relief from the shooting nerve pain just localised pain from incision.

I cannot thanks Dr Ellison Stephenson and her team enough and the staff/nurses at Gold Coast Uni hospital who look after with my overnight stay.

Thanks you so much guys now I can enjoy doing the things I love and helping other.

P.S the day of my surgery Dr Stephenson was in the theatre from 8.30-12pm operating on a more urgent case. She had a break and then operated on me from 1-3pm without any complications. She is a trooper.

I rang to make to make an appointment and spoke with Sarah , the receptionist . She was rude , dismissive and her only concern was if I was in a private health fund. She had no empathy, was cold and matter of fact. Dr Stephenson needs to be more discerning about who is on reception as it their first port of call. Because of this I have no faith and unfortunately chosen not to make a booking with the Doctor.

I am at a loss for words. Just called Dr Stephensons rooms to find out when I could have an appointment. I mentioned that I had already seen another neurosurgeon but was eagerly waiting on her opinion. I was then told Dr Stephenson does not do 2nd opinions. She was actually my first choice but given that I got in with someone else before her, I took it. Since when can’t we get more then one opinion when it comes to back surgery. Completely gobsmacked!!!

The receptionist Terry Ann is absolutely rude. I've never spoken to someone so rude in my life. She spoke to me with a terrible attitude then hung up without even saying goodbye

Had spinal surgery by her and i am not happy cos i am very bad pain. She keeping avoiding me like other Doctors . Very Disappointed..
