JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Marriott Gold Coast with my family, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is stunning, with luxurious amenities and beautifully designed rooms that offer comfort and style. The location is perfect, providing easy access to both the beach and local attractions.

What truly made my stay exceptional was the impeccable service, particularly from Prue at Chapter & Verse and Carissa at Reception. Their dedication to providing top-notch customer service was evident in every interaction. Prue’s warm and welcoming demeanor, coupled with her attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond, made a lasting impression on me.

I highly recommend the Marriott Gold Coast for anyone seeking a luxurious and memorable stay. Thanks to Prue, Carissa and the rest of the wonderful staff, I can't wait to return!

We stayed at JW Marriott over Mother’s Day weekend. It was a great experience. Though we had a trainee check us in but he was lead by a supervisor, the general relationship manager Mukul also came over to check if we were looked after. The attention to detail of guest experience was excellent. We had a good time over our stay. The only downside was the car park that day, there were Mother’s Day celebration too hence it was difficult to find a car park to park. Would probably suggest this can be informed to the guests prior arrival.

We had the BEST time at this resort, it was hands down the best family holiday we’ve ever had! The staff were all excellent and attentive, the food was delicious and a special mention to Alex at the Spa, he was absolutely amazing!! I can’t wait to come back :)

This hotel is simply a cut above the rest. From the moment you check in until the minute you check out staff are making sure that every minute of your stay is special. The hotel itself is magnificent, facilities are top of the line, the lagoon snorkel pool is wonderful for kids, and the in house cinema is a special surprise. A special thank you to Malika who made our check in experience second to none. We love the JW Marriott and feel it’s well worth paying a little extra for all the special touches.

Staying at the Marriott was the best choice I made.
The room was clean, spacious and amazing and well stocked whenever they cleaned the room.
The pool was soooo beautiful. Nice lagoon and normal pool, it was amazing.

The buffet breakfast and seafood buffet were amazing.
The staff were so friendly and even gave us a cake to celebrate our engagement which was really lovely.

I have never stayed at a hotel where they make you feel so special and welcome.

I strongly recommend this place for your next stay. I can’t wait to come back.

This has to be the best resort/hotel accommodation at Gold coast! Could not recommend it enough, the place is even better than expected compared to the photos, the private lagoon is uniquely beautiful. Service, food and drinks were spectacular. Location is very convenient to everywhere. I will definitely return

I am feeling so privileged to be here as the staff ensure all guests are treated like royalty. The amenities are some of the best on this strip of hotels. The food is sublime and the service is 20 out of 10. The beds are so comfortable. Oh my Buddha I am in paradise. If you get the chance to indulge yourself I highly recommend coming here.

Recently had the pleasure of having a weekend away at the gold coast and decided to check out the JW and I must say it did not disappoint. The experience was outstanding from the time we checked in to check out, we didn’t want to leave and wanted to extend another night.

The lobby is grandeur, typical JW style and check in was smooth. We had a little tour of the property and a few drinks at Chapter & Verse until our room was ready.

Great bar in the lobby with some outdoor seating looking over the Saltwater Lagoon. Great selection of cocktails including some winter specials recipes that were truly unique and unheard of.

The wine selection was amazing and huge. Had every different varietal and covered most of the new world regions. Food menu was very limited, I would have expected a bit more.

Saltwater Lagoon & Pool 🏖🐠

The best part of the resort is the outdoor pool area. They have 2 different sections: one is the saltwater lagoon and the other is a combination of connected pools that go around the resort. The pools are heated which is another big plus. They also have a water slide that we enjoyed. There are a couple of jacuzzis, one secretly hidden inside a cave which is pretty cool.

The only thing that disappointed was the pool bar shut at 4 pm which IMO was pretty early and the saltwater lagoon was freezing.

Misono

We made dinner reservations at their in house teppanyaki restaurant. They also have a cold bar if you want some pre meal sushi. The food and service were impeccable. We got different banquets so basically tasted a lot of different meats and they all were cooked to perfection. The miso soup, ginger and fried rice were tasty and fresh and were replenished within a minute of finishing, hahah the way I judge how good a teppanyaki/omakase is. The Japanese whiskey list was massive and contained a few rare selections which was also very impressive. The chef was very attentive, friendly and put on a great show. We had such a great night!!!!!

The Room

We opted for the King Room (Ocean View). We got a middle room on level 10 so sort of got an ocean view and partial city view which was beautiful. The room itself was modern and spacious. Everything was controlled using a smart remote. Bathroom had all amenities/essentials, a free standing bathtub and seperate shower. Turndown service was good too - they left us some chocolates and bath fizzers.

All in All, we had a great time - I would give this resort a solid 9/10 and wouldn’t hesitate to be back.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were fabulous, nothing is too much trouble. A special mention to Jye by the pool, whose service and friendliness was outstanding. We stayed with our 17week old baby girl and the staff were very accommodating, especially our wonderful cleaner. We received complementary birthday treats which was a thoughtful touch. We would definitely return.

Just wanted to say thanks to Pranjal at reception. Highly appreciative of the quick but fulfilling customer experience. Assisted a minor request and rather than treating it as trivial she was pleasant and happy to help. Thank you for the wonderful service and I will be back in the future. Great pens at reception too ;-)

Came here for a family holiday recently, and it was incredible. The staff are amazingly friendly, and the hotel as a whole is luxurious, while still maintaining a casual and welcoming atmosphere. Can't speak highly enough of this place :)

We stayed in this lovely hotel for 4 nights, which was one of the best experiences we have had so far. Upon check out, two angels helped us a lot with their warm welcome: Holley and Melika.
Apart from that, the service was excellent, and the staff were extremely helpful and patient to sort out every single matter referred to them. Overall, it has been a very pleasing journey to beautiful Gold Coast.

Caitlin and the team went above and beyond to make us feel really special! Caitlin really made checkin smooth and set us up with pool as our flights arrived super early. Really appreciated the bottle of bubbles when they found out we were on way home from our wedding!

Have visited this resort twice in the past 12 months and have had an amazing experience both times. Isaac the manager in charge went over and above to ensure my family and I had a great time. Well done on providing such excellent customer service.

Overall the experience is what you'd expect of a premium 5 star resort hotel. It's a little bit away from the main strip of Surfers Paradise, but they do have everything you need in the resort (so being a little away might actually be deliberate...). The lagoon pool is amazing and almost makes visiting the beach unnecessary. I can recommend getting a cabanna package and enjoying a day at the pool over traipsing down to the beach and dealing with sun and sand everywhere. The only complaint is some of the areas feel a little under-staffed and slow at times, but overall it's a great place for a relaxing getaway when you're looking for somewhere to take it slow and relax.

Just returned to the US after a 3 week work trip across eastern Australia. My few nights in a Junior suite at the JW Gold Coast were by FAR the highlight of my trip. The rooms, the amenities, the service and the vibe are unbelievable. I cannot thank the staff enough for a wonderful experience last weekend. Until we meet again!

Had 2 nights stay on our wedding anniversary, the service was outstanding. The staff was outstanding treating customers with highest privileges and services. The room size was great and very new, modern and comfortable.

Brilliant hotel and service. I had shown my wife this hotel and said we should book a trip, ended up needing to goto the GC for work so booked here. Without a doubt, we’ll be back. Great fit out, breakfast was some of the best I’ve had in years, the on site restaurants were great and the pools are amazing.

If you’re reading the reviews to justify the money. Just send it for 6 and book this hotel.

The only thing i didn’t like is the lady sitting next to the elevators trying to sell you the hotel time share.. not a good look to get hassle daily for a 90 minute session.

Great service, amazing amenities and well updated facilities. My son enjoyed every bit of stay on his 1st birthday. Both pool in resort are just mind blowing. And view from room ? Can’t expect more. Best ever. Breakfast team members was great.

Will definitely go back again.
