I picked the perfect surgeon! I could not have asked for a better experience or a better team to share this journey with. I am super happy with my results to-date, they truly speak for themselves. I was very nervous about my first consultation with Dr Drew Cronin as I have had many over the years and have come away feeling worse about myself and the recommended procedures. I felt confident and supported by Dr Cronin and trusted that he was the one for me. Dr Cronin changed everything. I am so thankful and so happy for what Drew and his team have worked in achieving for me. You will find and experience the difference between a good surgeon and a great surgeon when you meet Drew and his team.

I had 2 surgical procedures on my face last Monday.
Dr Peter Widdowson did the procedures and all I can say is Wow! Dr Peter Widdowson would have to be one of the nicest and kindest Doctors you could meet. I felt like I have aged really rapidly since my wife past away nearly 4 years ago.Dr Peter Widdowson made me feel really comfortable and was honest with me, I knew at the consultation that this is the Surgeon I need.
My experience with the whole Lotus institute team was amazing, All the receptionists were friendly and helpful.
The Executive Assistant Nikki was great with organising everything and getting me in sooner Nikki also answered all my questions and was a pleasure to deal with. My Nurse Cheryl was amazing, Cheryl was great with my recovery, she also gave me great advice and was only a phone call away if I had any questions or concerns as I live up the Sunshine Coast.

I can not speak highly enough y of Dr Widdowson and his lovely professional staff. I had a breast infection (hole in my breast), from *****another doctor in Brisbane***** who did very bad work. The holes was exposing the implant. If I was not treated in 24 hours and it was left open it would have had to be removed. On 24th December AND Christmas Day Dr Widdowson did emergency corrective surgery for me to save my breast and close the hole (even though he did not have to and could have spent his time envying his holidays. I wish I went to see him from the start. His care and integrity is second to none, to take time away from his family on Christmas Eve and Christmas day to fix a bodged job that was not even from him shows how much he cares about his patients and its not all just about the money. Thank you, I will not be going to anyone else in the future!

I have been a client of Brooke Grady's for numerous years now. Hands down the absolute best at what she does.

I had breast augmentation and a left bilateral matsopexy 1 week ago today my surgeon was doctor Peter Widdowson. I am so beyond happy with my recovery and my results so far. All the staff at the Lotus Institute made me feel so welcome and answered any questions I had before and after the procedure.
I put my trust in the surgeon and his opinion prior to the surgery and I am so pleased with my results.
I went for my 1 week check up yesterday and the staff their were so lovely.

Explant of 42 year old breast implants at 75 years of age!

After consulting two Brisbane based plastic surgeons regarding having explants, I still did not feel comfortable about going ahead. But then a friend recommended Dr Drew Cronin at The Lotus Institute at Southport. Dr Drew took the time to explain everything I wanted to know, without my having to ask the questions.
I had breast augmentation 42 years ago and found there were ruptures in both implants. I felt instantly at ease with him because of his knowledge and understanding of the symptoms I had been experiencing for many years, which I felt was related to the implant. Dr Drew completed a removal of breast implants and capsules, followed by a mastopexy (lift).
I am very pleased with the end result and my health has improved significantly. The whole experience has been very friendly and professional. All the staff at Lotus Institute took great care of my entire needs pre and post op. I would highly recommend Dr Drew and his team!

I am a 73 year old lady who had a breast reduction with Dr Drew Cronin in May 2020.

I just love my new look. Any women who has breast that hang down and give you trouble should have a breast reduction. I just want to show the world and tell the world how pleased I am with the outcome from this surgeon.

You will love Drew Cronin, he comes from a very smart family of surgeons, not in the same field though.

I had a necklift , miface and my upper eyelids done with Dr Widdowson . I am beyond thrilled with my results !
The most beautiful , natural result .
I was not wanting to change my looks but rather take a few years off and restore myself to what I was USED to seeing in the mirror for all my life.
I was in 2 minds about doing my eyelids as they actually were not that bad , but so so glad I did end up doing them. It made an enormous difference to my face.
I honestly can not recommend The Magician ( my name for Dr Widdowson ) because he achieved exactly the result I had hoped for .
The surgery took about 4 hours and I went home after it. The recovery was not painful , bruising and swelling so minimal and the care from the whole staff at Lotus has been amazing . I’m now looking at booking a breast reduction in the next 12 months .
I honestly have to say to anyone thinking of going down this path, you HAVE to go to The Magician that is Dr Widdowson . I wish I could post pics here so u could actually see what he did for me, making me feel like myself again . He is AMAZING !!!

I can highly recommend Dr Widdowson for breast implant removal. Dr Widdowson was compassionate, understanding and knowledgeable regarding the signs and symptoms of systemic issues arising from breast implants. More importantly he was able to perform an enbloc procedure to remove both the implant and the scar capsule. I am now 4 weeks post procedure and healing well with no complications. From an aesthetic perspective my breasts are looking good, even and the scar is positioned nicely and will be unnoticable with time. Many thanks also to his staff for their care in my follow up appointments and in particular Beatrice for her post surgical reviews, treatment and reassurance.

I have recently had an abdominoplasty with Dr Cronin from The Lotus Institute and I have been wanting to write a review for some time now, but I just can’t seem to find the right words to express how happy I am.
This is something I’ve wanted to do for 14 years, but as it’s such a big surgery, I never found a surgeon that I felt 100% happy with. After consulting with a few other surgeons beforehand that I didn't feel comfortable with, I went and saw Dr Widdowson and his team and after the first consultation to the surgery days and all of the follow up post op care I always felt like I was supported by a team that knew what they were doing. Firstly I liked to thank Peter for amazing work he is a very talented person with a unique gift to be able transform something horrible that I had my 11 year old ruptured deformed breast too beauty that I am now able too look in the mirror and be comfortable in my own skin and appearance . I felt from the moment I and my husband stepped into his office for my first consult I knew I had picked the right surgeon to perform a task that was going too be life changing for me he made feel very comfortable and confident and answered all my questions. I would like too thank the nurses that assist with the ongoing care post op , you all made me feel very comfortable and also gave me reassurance on every occasion that the recovery will go nicely as it has. I have been seeing Patricia for over ten years since she did my lips permanently with Aquamid. One word to describe her... AMAZING! I had my first Aquamid treatment back in 2003 in my lips, chin and naso labial folds and noticed an immediate improvement. Over the years I felt I needed a touch up to help with the lines on my face due to the ageing process. In 2017 I had 2ml put into my lips, what a difference it made and decided to go back in 2020 and have 3ml put into my cheeks. I cant thank Patricia enough, as I walked out feeling great, the changes were subtle, people said I looked refreshed, however they didn' t know what I had done which is what I wanted.
