Ambler Lane Campground

Nice little camping spot next to the river. Be warned, 4x4 access only. Cars and softroaders will get stuck. There is some mad made camping sports and fire pits near the river, not sure if they need to be pre booked.

Our all wheel vehicle had no probs getting in here but not sure it would be good for 2 wheel drives. Had the place all to ourselves.

Recently went and found a 2 wheel drive vehicle stuck.

We loved this spot. Right by the river, big fire places. We got unlucky with a loud group on the other side of the river. But otherwise it's gorgeous.

Not recommend for low vehicles or non 4wd vehicles.

Great little site. No drinkable water or toilets, but O'Briens crossing is a short drive away with a toilet. The road in from the north heading south is a 4wd road only, but the site is reachable with a 2wd from the south heading north.

Great camp site with 4x4 access only. We enjoyed our ride and stay over night.
