We popped in today for a quiet beer. This microbrewery hidden in the backstreets of Burleigh is a little gem and if you haven't gone and checked it out then you need to put it on the list. A good variety of beers on tap or you can grab yourself a tasting platter and sample a few. They also have takeaways in the fridge so you can grab a roadie. 🍻🍺

Great little venue with a large selection of delicious beers. Called in by chance and wasn’t disappointed.

I really recommend this place if you want to try different kinds of beers! My fav the ginger cider and the mint and berries 🫶🏻 I must come back

Black hops brewery has a great selection of craft beers, we ordered the tasting paddle, I must the portions were generous. I noticed they were providing brewery tours, explaining the beer making process.

Recommend trying the Geodie - much lighter than we thought and a nice surprise!

Plenty of seating arrangements and was a good vibe with music but not too loud.
Plenty of tables, an arrangement of merchandise and the chance to buy bottles of stock and larger casks for those more local.
No tour on offer just tasting.

Great beers with a lot of IPAs on the menu! The owners seem to be prior military and their theme and naming of the beers resembles that which is awesome. Dogs are welcomed but be aware the place is not too spacious and they close at 10pm

Cosy spot set back from highway, unsuspecting location, but welcoming boutique brewery when you get there. Only open Wednesday to Sunday and closes at 6 on Sunday evening, so go in time to try a few on the menu. We recommend Send It or Lay Day for good all round beers that taste like beer.
Ladies may enjoy Pink Mist, with raspberry finish- tho has a strong unusual aroma.
Beaut place and friendly staff. No food there.

Cracking good beers combined with friendly staff. Intimate seating, fairly decent sized tasting paddles. The fact they had plenty of special editions on tap made this place worth the trip.

Location is also top notch, would highly recommend!

Such a great craft brewery. Stayed in Burleigh Heads over Easter. Went three times to try and buy some beer. Will continue to order more once I'm back home.

The place is small, but the staff are very accommodating, friendly. Good range of beers. Full flavour and worth a visit. Probably one of the best beers on the GC I reckon.

Just spent a couple of hours at this excellent brewery. Fresh & tasty beers and a quality setup. Very similar to a brewery we have back in Birkenhead, Wirral called Glen Affric 🍻 Cheers lads

"HQ" as it is often referred to, the Black Hops Burleigh brewery is one of the best places for a beer on the Gold Coast, run by awesome staff with some really impressive & different takes on traditional craft beers. Quite often you will find taproom only beers flowing here alongside their core range, they're always worth trying as they're always unique & fun!

Amazing service and fantastic locally brewed beers. Something for every taste and an awesome little tastings bar. Definitely need to visit this little gem 🤗

Recently went here for my birthday and it was great. We got a tour of the brewery and all the staff were so welcoming, passionate and knowledgeable. Some very interesting options on tap too!
