Went to Musgrave Art on Tuesday to buy a very fine brush to paint whisker hairs on a portrait, having always been an Eckersleys customer I went there first and saw the price of the one I wanted and thought the price was a bit rich for the size of the brush, ( they are outrageously expensive for art materials, I think they believe all their customers are getting Van Gough prices for their paintings while they are still alive 🤣) however one of my students recommended I try Musgrave Art , so I did! and was greeted by a delightful young lady at reception who was super helpful and thoroughly knowledgeable on product recommend the brush, which wasn’t the most expensive!! And my first shopping experience with Musgrave Art a very pleasant surprise! I have now signed up for your loyalty program, and you guys have a new happy customer! Thankyou 👍🥸

New customer, just taken up learning watercolour painting. Could spend hours browsing anything and everything, even in my current state of ignorance about it all. Kind of like how addictive Officeworks is for stationery nerds (and yep, I'm one of those too). Very nice, helpful lady working there. Sorry, I didn't get your name. Musgrave Art is by far my most favourite art store. I've been buying from them for nearly 30 years with the same owners all that time. I recommend them to all my students and everyone agrees that they received amazing service and quick delivery. The prices are always cheaper than other stores having sales! I would give Musgrave Art a thousand stars if I could!!

Super friendly store, reasonable prices, no shortage of help or good advice. They stock a bunch of great brands for professional artists. Copic markers, arches and fabriano paper, Princeton brushes, Daniel smiths watercolour.

I'm a little dissapointed by no prismacolor pencils, but thats not the end of the world. Pretty much anything else you'll be able to find at a more than reasonable price

Lovely! The woman on staff was incredibly helpful in setting me up with a beginner painting kit. Super informative and friendly, with a great loyalty program, and such a diverse range of stock!! Highly recommend, will be back soon :)

I honestly wouldn't shop elsewhere on the Gold Coast. The two lovely ladies behind the counter are always happy to spend time helping me make the best choices. We browse over real paint swatch charts so that I can see exactly what I'm purchasing. I love Daniel Smith watercolours and their knowledge is great comparing brands and colour choices. They never make me feel like I'm a burden. And they give discounts for further purchases. With art products being expensive, this is important to me. I went to Eckersley once and they made me feel like I was interrupting them. They were abrupt and unhelpful. I will never shop there again. My precious dollars are happily spent at Musgrave. They smile and know my name. I get the best customer service. So much love for this shop and the staff. I highly recommend Musgrave Art for quality customer service and products. 5 stars from me.
