Oh, it was heavenly smell beautiful roses in the garden this morning when I stepped in. I was almost cry with joy by surrounding peaceful nature.
The garden was well design, and cafe is nicely setting, shop’s lady was very kindly helped me for my questions.
$10 enter fee was I thought bit over charge but if money goes to maintain this beautiful garden, I’m happy to pay:) I bought 3 pots of flowers and a bag of seeds. They are rear plants which I can’t find in local nursery.
This place is heaven for gardening lovers.

This place is a hidden gem in the middle of no where ! I spent half day here and absolutely could stay more. The cafe was very nice also, I had scones with raspberry.. was delicious!

My advice is .. have a coffee and some scones then head to the garden, there is an entry fee which is 10$ per person. At first I thought it’s a bit overpriced however after entering it I found it that it’s totally worth it ! There other attractions like national parks and great lookouts nearby that you could easily find in Google map. Also the hanging rock national park is only 40 minutes drive.

Beautiful gardens. Staff are very friendly and helpful in helping select the right plants.
We stayed at the glamping tents for a night also. Very nice, just BYO breakfast as the Cafe doesn't open until 10 and only serves scones!

A lovely Diggers Club garden with lots of interest, including a productive garden area with many espaliered fruit trees. Pay particular attention to the garden shop which is an original cottage from the gold mining era and is approximately 160 years old. The cafe was not opened during our visit.

Lovely garden to visit as part of the Diggers Club, although you don't need to be a member to visit!
Beautiful time of year to see the colours of the leaves and the flowers.

What a great place to rest at before a hike or walk at Lerderderg! This place might as well be called the garden of Eden. Beautiful gardens hidden in a little town. Food at the cafe in straight from the garden, giving the meals a very fresh and delicious taste. Keep in mind, its only opened for breakfast and lunch and only has a small variety of choices. Would recommend the slow cooked lamb dish! There’s a private garden you can wander through for $5 p/p or simply just pursue their small but plentiful nursery. Be sure to check out their gift shop. It has lots of speciality seeds & gardening items. This place is also dog friendly.

I would suggest leave half a day to go to this place. It was amazing to take our time walking through the beautiful gardens. The coffee was great at the cafe and they have a great variety of Heirloom seeds and plants.

Good nursery with a wide range of seeds and other useful garden tools.

Stumbled upon it after finishing the Easter Monday track and was late afternoon so the cafe was closed, but will be back again when its open :)

Beautiful. We stayed in one of the yurts and had the food package, which consisted of steak, sausage, salad and bread with relish and local butter. Warm and cosy, I would definitely go again!

An absolute Eden. Hidden off the beaten track, these gardens are something to behold. In incredible variety of trees, plants and flowers. For the green fingered gardener, the selection of seeds and plants for sale is astounding. We also found you can do glamping here amongst ponds in the grounds. I can only imagine how perfect that would be. A visit here is highly recommended if you're around for a weekend in the area.

Air was fresh and lovely mountain air. Gardens were lovely it was raining but that didn't matter. Cafe food was lovely too. No complaints here. 10 out of 10.

Beautiful garden with a lovely little cafe. You can purchase a wide range of plants to suit all locations. The Diggers Foundation cultivates heirloom varieties of plants to save them from extinction. They also aim to raise the issues of climate change and the control of seed production by global companies.
