Salt Village Fish & Chips

Fish & chips, fish pieces and potato scallops all beautifully cooked and only took 5 minutes to get ready. No atmosphere at the shop itself - it’s just for takeaway (but the beach is only metres away)! Best we’ve had in ages.

Been here 2 times now, both occasions have been served quality and FRESH food. Chips are always hot, crispy and salted perfectly. The fish was amazing. Best fish and chips I’ve had in a while :)

Great food. I had the works burger and it was messy but delicious. They also gave me a free tub of sauce for my chips which tasted so good! Bit pricey but everything is pricey in kingscliff

Well worth the drive for the best fish and chips ! Stumbled across this little gem recently with the family. Absolutely delicious chicken burgers and freshly caught fish from the nearby ocean all at very reasonable prices, we will be back.

We had the meal deal for 2 today at about 4.30 before the tea time rush , we upgraded our fish to snapper and barramundi for an extra $5 and bought 2 tartar sauce pots it all came to $37, I have to say it was delicious we really enjoyed it one of the best fish and chips we’ve had! The fish and calamari was lovely really white thick fillets and even the chips were lovely! Very impressed we would definitely come again , I can’t understand the bad comments , we should have uploaded pics but we were starving so we eat it before we had a chance 😂😂

We have come here a couple times now when on holidays and we have had great fish n chips on all occasions. They offer good value packs; the pack for two is amazing value for money and was the perfect size for us. The grilled barramundi was delicious and chips were the best!!

We had battered fish beautiful and golden brown very tasty. Chips nice and crispy. Crumb prawns beautiful. Our meal was beautiful and we always go here when we are on our mini breaks. Nice food great staff. Thank you.

Had takeaway twice during our stay nearby - had crumbed and grilled barramundi / calamari / prawns and chips - all were fresh cooked once and serves were plentiful. Phone orders were ready in abt 20 mins - highly recommended

Agree with Morgan - family fish & chips and burger - fish not overcooked, just perfect - my wife Maira is very particular! - great friendly service and best prices in Salt - highly recommended - we were on a family bike ride and stopped off for lunch :-)

Best battered barra and crumbed prawns I've had in a long time. Salad are beautiful.

They can get busy but it's totally worth the wait.
