The Kingscliff council have every right to be proud of what they have achieved here. Only a few years ago the beachfront here had been destroyed by storm swells and the whole place was looking a bit jaded. There have been too many improvements to list here but suffice to say that this is a fantastic place to spend time relaxing with friends and family.Although there seems to be a lot more visitors to this area now there is still plenty of space and it doesn't feel crowded. This place is well worth the trip.

The park has picnic tables and public toilets. It also has a shower and a tap so you can wash off the salt and sand after the beach.

Such a great kids park. Open spaces, an option for the big kids and lots for the little kids. One park has a sand pit for soft fall. There are a set of swings. A basketball court and beach access within walking distance. Also a cafe within walking distance! Lots of shady trees. We could spend hours here!

It was absolutely beautiful here! The park is attached to the beach and along the sea line (not sure if that's the right way of putting it here but you get the gist). There is a shallower side which is good for small children and kids. If you continue down towards the other end you will see the beach and lots of people fish or sun tan around this area. Definitely a great way to spend a family day.

Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere with families and dogs. The amenities spotlessly clean. The beach....well it's a long walk at low tide and even longer in shallow water but still very enjoyable catching the waves in sitting position. Shops all in walking distance with fabulous little bistro's and a truly great book shop. What more can a person want!

Cudgen Creek, a great place for a snorkel on the high tide. I was drifting with incoming tide, starting from what appears to be a small beach about two hundred metres to the boat ramp. On my dive I encountered, one metre long garfish, flathead, pufferfish, and a array of colorful fish. Great snorkeling. Big park to set up a sun shade, toilets near by. Plenty of places to set up. Cafes and shops just down the road

Not very good. No shade covers over play equipment. Black used on swings etc. Far too hot for children to touch. Also the ground because of no shade too hot.

Beautiful spot but really busy. Nice to have a protected area for a swim but don't expect to be alone during busy seasons
