Chiang Mai Thai Kingscliff

Great tasting Thai. The amount of food in each takeaway container was amazing, and 2 of them were big ones. The king prawn fried rice was just that. There must've been at least 10/12 large kingies in there and it tasted delicious. The mixed seafood stir-fry was the same. Packed with king prawns and calamari and the flavour packed sauce was exquisite. Fresh kaffir lime leaves predominant. The chicken, ginger, basil stir-fry rounded off a delicious selection packed with moist succulent chicken. Service was pleasant and superfast, and the chef obviously cares about her food.

Another great meal. I had the seafood curry. Lots of prawns. My wife loved her meal too!

Food was very fresh and tasty highly recommend this Thai restaurant We had to wait a little bit of time , for our takeout but well worth the wait delicious 😋

I ate there a month ago, I had stir fry pork it was so good that I went back to try their sweet and sour beef. The veggies on both nights were fresh as you can get. I will be back. Sam.

Have ordered from Michelle many times in the last few years. The best Thai food in Kingscliff, and the best Thai food I have ever had. The chicken golden bags are amazing, as are the fried rice and curry dishes. Always fresh and cooked to perfection.

Best restraunt in kingscliff. Beautiful food. Great traditional music playing. Easy on the wallet. Excellent place for families. Highly recommended.

Best authentic Thai food in the kingcriff!! We ordered combination fried rice, stir fried duck, golden bags and papaya salad all food was amazing and big portions. I had the best night there and staffs are amazing and MasterChef Michelle she is amazing cook. Highly recommended I definitely going back there every time I visit kingcriff.

The Best Thai Chicken Fried Rice I have ever had! That good we ordered a take away to take home. The service was outstanding and the Thai Green Chicken Curry Mild was spot on. Also had a few Singha’s with our meals. Chang Mai Thai was a great dining experience and gave us the feeling of being in Thailand on Holidays.
Highly recommend dining here.

Lovely service, great value and good portions. I especially loved the fried rice and Pad Thai. They fed me well while I was up here for work.I recommend this place for everyone looking for great Thai food for a great price

I don't mind Thai food, but I don't normally love it. I had the Chicken Satay and then the Green Curry with Coconut Rice. OMG seriously, that was the best Coconut Rice I have every had. Yes, as per the other reviews, this place doesn't scream street appeal, but with food like that, and at the crazy low prices, I can do without the street appeal :)

Delicious authentic Thai food! Our favourites are chicken pad Thai and panang curry. Both full of flavour.

We are from Sydney where we have a flood of Thai restaurants; however, this place was truely impressive. Do not come here if you want fine dining with Michelin star service. Come here if you want authentic Thai food which uses fresh produce. Accross the road from the beach with easy parking. Kids (11 and 8) gave it a huge thumbs up as well.

We love eating from Chiang Mai, the food is always delicious and authentic and we always get exactly what we order. The staff are always friendly and the service is great!

We were uncertain about eating here because the decor compared to other places was not too good. Do not judge a book by its cover. This is literally the best ever Thai food I have eaten. We will be back again for sure!!!

My family are holidaying in Kingscliff from Canberra. Saw this Thai restaurant advertised on the web at local Kingscliff and WOW...just had my best Thai dish ever, I had a traditional mixed seafood stir fry with chilli..it was awesome...good serving with generous local fresh seafood. My wife had the chicken and cashews Thai style...she loved it! And to top it off the owner threw in a free tub of rice and prawn crisps.

This place is a hidden gem! As a thai, I often struggle to find authentic thai food overseas as many places cater their flavours to the local country/city which is understandable. When I found this place, i couldn't be happier! Beautiful authentic food, michelle was extremely hospitable and I felt just at home! Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for real authentic thai food in kingscliff!
