Highly recommend this salon!!
First time today and definitely won’t be my last.
The girls are so lovely 😊 and made me feel very welcome.

My first time going here and they fit me in with short notice and I was not disappointed. All the staff were amazing, I would highly recommend. I had a bad hair cut for a another salon and they fixed it for me and I'm so pleased

My first and last visit. Firstly, I don't like wearing a cape as they make me overheat. I have not worn a cape for over twenty years without any problems but was given a lecture in an unfriendly way that they would take no responsibility if dye got on my clothes. I repeated that I had already been informed about this and it wasn't a problem. The young woman who was going to do my hair, I wanted pink foils, a trim and a conditioning treatment, was not very helpful. She failed to clearly explain the process other than to tell me the cost. She was not friendly and I ended up walking out. While I don't mind spending hundreds of dollars on my hair I expect a level of professionalism and service which this salon seems to have forgotten. They have lost a potential customer as I will never return.
Staff and management need to lift their game.

I prefer to provide positive feedback however in this case I can not.

It was my first visit to this Salon & initially I was naturally cautious with my Salon choice & as their was no website I was very unsure as I do find websites very helpful when first choosing any business.

However I called & spoke to Janelle. She advised me that she is one of the owners & naturally Senior & very experienced I made the decision to schedule my appointment with her for my Autumn colour & trim.

I had been travelling extensively & was overdue for colour & needed a trim.

Due to travelling & unable to see my regular stylist I was naturally a little nervous but felt sure all would go well as I assumed I was in capable hands.

I have been a client of many leading salons in Brisbane, Noosa and Sydney & as I travel Nationally with my work I have on occasions visited salons on a rare first & one-off occasion have always left the Salon very happy & happy to provide great reviews.

From my experience with every Salon visit particularly being my first visit I fully expected a thorough consultation & was prepared with photos however I felt this process was extremely rushed & somewhat dismissed.

Janelle provided very little time to view my photos & referred to a colour chart recommending a deeper shade to provide the warmth for Autumn with foils to lighten the overall colour & avoid it being a block colour I understood from her explanation.

I hoped & I trusted she was clear about what I wanted which she clearly could not possibly be based on the lack of time allocated for the much needed consultation for my first visit as a potential new client & a new season colour.

I was initially shocked how dark my hair was & patiently waited for the drying process to see the end result.

I tried to be very positive about it at the time & at the end of my appointment photos were taken by the junior & although I really tried to like it Janelle did not return to ensure that I was happy but just to correct photos.

I returned home extremely unhappy with my hair as it was initially blonde & was now extremely dark with light evident streaky foils.

The darker colour had leaked through to the root of the lighter foiled colour.

Overall it was extremely amateur & after many years of Salon visits it was in my opinion a complete disaster.

Those who know me & my normal colour were very honest also about it with very negative feedback from all.

It certainly was NOT what I wanted.

I called the next morning & spoke to Janelle to express how unhappy I was with the colour & she fit me in & advised she would correct the colour at the basin.

I asked on the phone & in person on my return today if the process would be damaging at all as from my research it would be & Janelle insisted it would NOT be & this was my only option.

She proceeded with the process of “bleach bathing” which she assured me would NOT be damaging at all to my hair.

On my arrival Janelle wanted to take me straight to the basin however as I had done my research and was very concerned about the damage & also the end result I had to insist we take time to sit & discuss the process for me to ask questions & to clearly understand the expected end result.

Overall Janelle’s attitude was extremely disappointing & advised the foils which I had paid for would NOT be evident & that the colour would just be a shade lighter & just an all over colour.

I expressed that I had paid for the full colour with the foils. There was in my opinion no care, no remorse & no offer to compensate any cost.

The junior washed my hair & was quickly blowdried by another stylist with NO follow-up or return from Janelle once again to consult me in any way.

The stylist blow drying my hair commented about the frizziness of my hair which it was NOT prior to today!

I left the Salon & have returned home VERY unhappy as my hair is still very dark, a block colour & is very frizzy &
is clearly VERY damaged.

I now need to visit a highly recommended Salon for help.

I at the very least request a full refund which I will pursue.
