Great place to enjoy nature and birdwatching. The tracks are well maintained and there's plenty of parking. Lots of bugs around so be prepared with insect repellent if you need to. Lots of birds can be observed around the area so borders may want to bring a scope with them to check out the birds on the other side of the river bank.

Great place for education, family visits, tours, voluntary work. Nature and animal reservr, conservation projects to help save sick birds, fish, plants wildlife.
Great scenic walks, tours, exercise. Bird watching, feeding. Discovering Flora and fauna watching and learning about changing environment and nature during seasonal changes and what is needed to help the conservation of these environment's throughout the year and seasons to help manage the stability and health of the Flora and Fauna, environment in general to help keep the wildlife healthy alive with in a peaceful natural habitat which will enable them to create more life and keep species productive healthy and safe from extinction.
The people here do amazing work and provide a natural sanctuary for the wildlife and a serene natural environment for people to come enjoy, respect and learn how precious natural environments are that are not overtaken by manmade inanimate objects and appreciate it's besuty and that it also helps provide people with much needed health benefits that are missed and taken for granted in the over populated, polluted, toxic environments as an effect and negative outcome from some man-made environments cars ,electricity, litter, knocking down natural environment such as forest to build towns, high-rise buildings, roads etc Overuse and taking for granted the natural resources used such as water, fossil fuels, non renewable energies resources killing off animals home's etc
That's what.makes Hunter wetlands a great place and example of how we can help keep and protect natural environment's by the creation of nature reserves, wildlife parks that are respected, protected, monitored to keep nature and it's species alivr. A lot of the work done in places like this are by wonderful, passionate beings who volunteer and give their time freely to help prevent our resources ,wildlife, animals, tree's, Flora and fauna from becoming extinct and disappearing altogether which would create a disaster for earth and all living things, species on it from dying too!
Thank-you to all who respect, work, volunteer, visit ,learn, educate, experiment and look for ways to protect our wetlands you are supreme beings.
